Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced that Matt Riddle has been removed from the 2018 Battle of Los Angeles tournament, set to take place over the weekend of 9/14-9/16 in California:
Matthew Riddle will no longer be a participant in the 2018 Battle of Los Angeles. Trevor Lee has now entered the tournament in his place!

Riddle being pulled from the event should strengthen the speculation that he is WWE NXT bound.
