Former WWE Champion Randy Orton is backstage at tonight's WWE Extreme Rules PPV in Pittsburgh, the first time he has been at a WWE live event since undergoing knee surgery this past May.
In May, WWE announced Orton had undergone knee surgery to repair a medial tear to his meniscus. At the time, Orton noted that he had known since late 2017 that he needed the surgery and was waiting for the timing to be right to have the procedure done.
Orton's recovery time was expected to be in the three-month area.
