BIG NAME SPOTTED IN VICINITY OF EXTREME RULES, IS A WWE RETURN ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE?

In an interesting piece of timing, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan flew into Cleveland, Ohio this evening with Jimmy Hart.  The city is only a two-hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA, where tomorrow’s WWE Extreme Rules PPV is being held.

As PWInsider.com first broke back in March, WWE and Hogan have been involved in discussions in relation to a return to the company.  There was talk of using Hogan in the following month’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia but that idea never came to fruition.

If Hogan is poised to make a WWE return in some fashion this coming week, he is doing his best to try and throw fans off the scent.  This evening, several fans in Georgia tweeted that Hogan was on their flight:

However, yet another fan tweeted about Hogan on his flight:

In the last hour, PWInsider.com has heard from two different readers that Hogan and Hart were spotted leaving the Cleveland airport this evening.  A quick search online was unable to turn up any publicly announced Hogan appearances in the area over the next several days.

While there’s no confirmation of a Hogan WWE return as of this writing, the timing of the flight, the lack of any known Hogan appearances this weekend and the fact that Hogan was trying to make fans believe he was actually home in his backyard in Florida certainly point to something greater going on.
