Pro Wrestling NOAH star Naomichi Marufuji has announced that he will be facing off against current WWE 205 Live and former GHC Heavyweight Champion KENTA (Hideo Itami) at their “Flight” show on September 1 at Sumo Hall. The show also serves as Marufuji’s 20th Anniversary Show.
A recent report in the Wrestling Observer stated that WWE and NOAH have recently entered a working relationship.
Itami signed with WWE in 2014. He debuted in 2000 for All Japan Pro Wrestling and left that company as part of a mass exodus when the late Mitsuharu Misawa formed Pro Wrestling NOAH.
