PILEDRIVERS VS. DDTS, SUMMERSLAM MAIN EVENT, ELIAS’ PUSH AND MORE

In WWE, why are piledrivers not allowed but DDT’s are? It seems like to me you land on your head with both moves.

There is a big difference, control.  With the piledriver, the person taking it has none at all.  With a DDT, he/she does.

Roman wins the multi man match at Extreme Rules, and then Braun cashes in the briefcase to make it a three way at Summer Slam so he can take the pin probably from Brock. That should make every Braun loving Roman hater's head explode.

I had a similar idea.  There has already been talk of Roman vs. Brock at SummerSlam.  I could see Strowman adding himself.  If Dana White was right about Lesnar’s contract running through summer, Lesnar should lose there.  The best way that they could do it would be for Braun to have the match won and Roman steals the pin for the Title.  Then Braun, who the fans like, chases Roman, who many of the fans do not like.  If they book it your way?  Well yeah, that could get ugly!

I can't be the only one who thinks WWE dropped the ball by not giving Elias the IC title, right? Here's a guy with a great look, great gimmick, and is over with the fans in an astronomical sense, and they have him lose to Rollins in what should have been the biggest match of his career. And to add insult to injury, they end up having Rollins drop the belt to Dolph Ziggler of all people the next night. Why? Nothing against Ziggler, but his stock is nowhere near where it was five years ago, and it just seems idiotic to not give Elias the rub.

Had Monday not happened, I would disagree with you.  I thought Elias came out of that match stronger than when he went in.  But, if the idea was to flip the Title, then Elias makes more sense to me.  With that said, we have to see how the story plays out.  If it ends up the Title goes to Drew Galloway eventually, then it could a pretty cool thing.  Elias will be fine in the long run I believe.

Do you foresee Ronda Rousey eventually wrestling on free TV? Or do you think that she'll be used on PPVs only a la Brock Lesnar? Also: is she killing it with her in-ring performances or what? Granted, she's only wrestled twice, but damn, I've been extremely impressed with her work so far.

I think USA is going to want a Raw match sooner rather than later.  And, they should.  For now, while she is learning, I can see why they are going PPVs with her, to make sure she’s ready.  She is showing she is!

I've met both Mick Foley and Barry "Smash" Darsow in person, and they were extremely gracious and kind when I interacted with them. Who are some of the nicest wrestling personalities you've known over the years?

Given what I do for a living, I have met a lot of wrestlers.  Some of them are really, really great people.  I would rather not make a list though.
