William Regal was not at last night's WWE NXT taping. We were told this morning that a decision was made on Wednesday not to bring him in. Regal hasn't been around since April due to a personal situation.
As we mentioned a few days ago, WWE will be holding a tryout at the Performance Center starting 6/27. The only names we have confirmed thus far are Northeast independent wrestler Max Castor, 24-year old Duke University football player Shaquille Powell and 28 year old former NFL player Terence "TJ" Barnes. Obviously, there will be lots of other names added to that list.
Add Randy Orton, currently recovering from knee surgery, to the list of WWE talents seen in Birmingham, Alabama of late.
Sami Zayn is back home in Florida recovering from the first of several surgeries he will undergo in the coming months. Our best to him in his recovery.
