TMZ featured a story on the ever-increasing potential of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan returning to WWE, reporting that Hogan and WWE management have been in talks about bringing him back "the right way".
The article stated that WWE was "paying close attention" to Hogan's Boys and Girls Club Alumni Hall of Fame speech earlier this week, where Hogan (accompanied by Jimmy Hart) talked about educating children and learning from his past mistakes. The article noted that WWE management was interested to see how the public would react.
The article also noted that WWE was making tentative plans to bring Hulk Hogan to Saudi Arabia for last week's "Greatest Royal Rumble" event as it was a request from the Saudi Royal family.
PWInsider.com can independently confirm that at one point, Hogan's name was discussed in creative pitches for that show with the idea of Hogan returning to the company at that event as a surprise. As WWE got closer to the event, the idea of Hogan appearing dissipated. PWInsider.com first broke back in March that the stage was set for Hogan to potentially return to the company.
