Enjoyed seeing Chris Jericho at the Greatest Royal Rumble tonight. However, I want to ask you, what is the next step for him in pro wrestling? Will he still have a part with NJPW or is he gonna remain with WWE? Because right after Wrestle Kingdom this year, Jericho attacked Naito at the New Year's Dash show at Korakuen Hall and I was so looking forward to that potential program for the summer? What do you guys know?
I know he will do exactly what he wants, when he wants to do it. At this point he has earned that right and it’s pretty clear that WWE respects that.
At this point, is the only reason Brock is still the champion is so they can erase CM Punk from the record books as being the longest reigning champion in the modern era? If I'm doing my math right, as of my writing this (4/27), he still has a little over 40 days before that record is broken. That said, you still have to ignore the fact, which I know they will, that title didn't exist when Punk was in the WWE, so that record really means nothing.
All I can say about that, and it’s been brought up to me many times, is if that is what they are doing with Brock, it’s just stupid. They have turned Roman Reigns into the Lex Luger of his generation. The losses have added up and hurt his perception so if they did that to the guy just to erase a record, it’s really stupid.
Why did Arda Ocal (aka the former announcer Kyle Edwards) leave WWE? He had said for many years that it was his dream job to work there, and he left after a relatively short tenure.
He was let go by the company.
After watching RAW on Monday and being reminded of the Amazing chemistry that Booker T and Corey Graves have, I was wondering, Was it Booker T's choice to leave the Monday night RAW broadcast team? I think Booker is a more entertaining fit for the group, in my opinion, as that I find Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman to have the same stale personality.
Booker has said, a few times, that he doesn’t want to be on the road doing Raw full time. He will fill in whenever he is needed, but he doesn’t want to do it full time. I agree with you, I like him a lot on commentary. I think Coach is good too, but Booker brings a fun element to commentary that I enjoy.
In hindsight should the No Mercy double main event have been saved until Wrestlemania?? Reigns not winning the title at mania certainly seems strange and looking back would Reigns going over Cena and then moving on to the winner of a Strowman Lesnar main event (that could have built for months) at the greatest royal rumble not been a much better plan? Reigns is going in worse than he was pre mania as it stands, add Cena being squashed in what certainly could have been a Jinder mahal instead.
And he came out even worse. I have given up on trying to figure out what they are doing with the Universal Title.
