Major League Wrestling's BeIN Sport TV deal will see their TV carried in The United States and Canada. There's no word as to whether there will be additional international clearances through BeIn Sport, which has a global reach.
The MLW: Fusion series will air Fridays at 8 PM Eastern with an 11 PM replay. Tony Schiavone and Rich Bocchini will host. It will be Schiavone's first nationally broadcast appearance in pro wrestling since the death of WCW in 2001-
In anticipation of the TV deal, MLW has signed a number of talents to contracts that stipulate they will make themselves available for the MLW TV taping dates before any other wrestling commitment. We are told the deals do not prevent talents from working for any other independent promotion, but would protect the promotion's interests should WWE want to sign the talent.
Court Bauer will be handing the booking for the promotion, assisting by Mister Saint Laurent, who has been a long-time associate for Bauer. There will be some former WWE Creative team members, including Alex Greenfield and Robert Karpele working on pre-tapes for segments.
Low Ki, Jimmy Havoc, MVP and Bruce Prichard will be the producers for the series.
Nelson Sweglar, who was the head of WWF TV operations including working as executive producer for the first nine Wrestlemanias, who worked for WWF from the 1970s to the mid-1990s, including grooming Kevin Dunn and designing WWE's TV studios is an Executive Producer for MLW. Charlie Bruzesse, who worked on the original ECW and has been part of a number of incarnations of MLW, is also working on the series.
