It was announced today that Netflix has renewed its reality competition series Ultimate Beastmaster for a third season with former WWE champion and UFC fighter CM Punk and former WWE star Stu "Bad News Barrett" Bennett appearing as hosts.
Over the course of the season, there will a number of competitions with competitors from different countries trying to conquer a massive obstacle course. The winners for each country then move on to a final competition with the "Ultimate Beastmaster" crowned the victor.
This year's competitors will be from The United States, Great Britain, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Spain, France, Italy, and South Korea.
The series is specifically produced with announcers and personalities for each market. Punk will be hosting for the United States, while Bennett will be hosting for Great Britain. It is the latest move into the entertainment world for each. Last year, Punk tests for a lead role in the Starz pro wrestling drama Heelz, before the series was put on hold. Bennett filmed starrring role in the feature film Vengeance in 2016 after departing WWE.
The third season will begin filming later this year.
