Former WWE champion Jeff Hardy was in Birmingham, Alabama this past Tuesday to evaluate how his surgically repaired torn Labrum and torn rotator cuff are healing as he prepares for an in-ring return this Spring.
Hardy suffered a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum while headlining Raw as part of a Six-Pack match in October 2017, admitting at the time that the timing of the injury was "depressing." With the exception of a cameo during the Raw 25 broadcast in January, Hardy has been completely off TV since that time.
Recovery from rotator cuff surgery is usually 4-6 months, so he would right now be in the early range of a potential return. Obviously, Hardy's goal would be to return to WWE storylines in time for Wrestlemania 34 this April in New Orleans, but it remains to be seen if that can happen.
WWE has a Best of the Hardy Boyz DVD slated for this Spring as well.
