How is Abdullah the Butcher’s health these days?
I saw Abdullah, 77-years old, at a wrestling convention last month in Philadelphia. He has lost a lot of weight and was in a wheelchair but looked to be in good spirits and doing what Abby does best, trying to make money.
Who would be Ronda Rousey’s best opponent?
Honestly, I want you to understand I am not trying to be insulting towards your question with this response, but it’s a trick question: there is no answer. Until we see what Rousey will be able to do in the ring, it’s impossible to even guess this answer. She could be the next Bret Hart, or she could be the next Jim Neidhart. We don’t know what she brings to the ring until she trains, and we start to see what potential she has as a performer. WWE will be making a big investment in her and it will be interesting to see what they and she gets out of it.
When I was a kid, all the WWF photography was credited to Steve Taylor. Whatever happened to him?
Taylor left WWF in 2005 and has worked for Madison Square Garden in the production side since.
How long before we see Jeremy Borash on WWE TV?
Borash was hired to work at the WWE Performance Center and behind the scenes at NXT. While it’s certainly within the realm of reason that sooner or later, he’ll be popping up, he wasn’t hired (to the best of my knowledge) to resume his on-air person in NXT. Maybe the Furley eyes will pop up, though!
Has there been any talk of giving The Neidharts their on reality show? They are absolutely insane in the best way possibly for TV. I’d love to see it.
While I haven’t heard any talk of it, certainly WWE could come up with a number of insane scenarios for that family. One never know!
