WWE NXT TakeOver Predictions 2018 - Philadelphia PPV

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming WWE NXT TakeOver which will be a PPV event held in Philadelphia. There are many contenders to steal the limelight and become the star of the event. The bookmaker's odds are changing fast with many leaked stories coming out to alter the prices. In this article, I will make my shortlist of the wrestlers that will make a big splash at the show.

Extreme Rules Match - Aleister Black vs. Adam Cole

Expect big things from The Undisputed Era with its three members all doing well at the event. I think that the NXT Tag Team of O`Reilly and Fish will keep the championship when they face The Authors of Pain. The third member of the team Adam Cole is facing Allister Black and I expect the former to be victorious. I think that due to the fact it is Extreme Rules it means that his teammates can interfere to help him get a controversial win.

NXT Tag Team Championships - Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly (c) vs. The Authors of Pain

The NXT Tag Team battle between The Authors of Pain vs O’Reilly and Fish will be close but I expect The Undisputed Era team to retain the Championship belt. It will help propel the team if all three win to become the kings of NXT and they will make sure all the others know it.

NXT Women’s Championship - Ember Moon (c) vs. Shayna Baszler

The battle between Moon and Baszler is too close to call and it all depends on what the WWE has in store for the Women's Championship this year. With the rumour that the former worlds worst woman on the planet Ronda Rousey is about to join the ranks, it is exciting times ahead in the division.

The result will have a big impact on who will go to the Battle Royal. The winner should be able to book her spot and it depends on which female the WWE want to promote the most. It would be ashamed to not see both women compete but it is likely one will have to sit it out.

NXT Championship - Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Johnny Gargano or Velveteen Dream

The main event at the Philadelphia PPV is the NXT Championship battle between Almas Vs Gargano or Dream. There are many different scenarios that could take place and I expect to see lots of interference coming from Ciampa. He will look to get a lot of attention and make a name for himself which so expect him to play a big part in the result.

Gargano will be looking to put on a big show for the fans and it would be great to see him manage to take the title away from Almas. I think he will come close but a controversial moment will enable Almas to get the victory.
