Former Impact Wrestling and ROH champion Eddie Edwards was injured at tonight's Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida.
During the taping, Eddie Edwards defeated Sami Callihan. After the match, Sami attacked Eddie. Callihan placed a chair on Eddie and hit it with his baseball bat. Unfortunately, the bat ricocheted off the chair and smacked Eddie across the top of his head.
Edwards immediately walked away, grabbing his head. When he returned to the locker room, we are told there was a "ton of blood." Edwards was immediately taken to the hospital.
Updated 10:23 PM EST: We are told that Edwards has been examined at the ER and is OK.
