For those wondering if WWE did anything special for the talent for working through the Christmas holiday, not only did the company throw a Christmas party for all of them after Raw on Monday, but we have also heard that WWE picked up the Chicago hotel bill for both the Raw and Smackdown rosters as a thank you for being away from their families over the holiday.
Video footage of the Paige injury last night tells the tale of what happened. Paige had her back to Sasha Banks, who was behind her against the turnbuckles. Banks used the ropes to elevate herself and kicked with both legs to Paige's back. Paige was obviously not ready for the bump and went down facefirst. She tried to get up but could not get her legs under her, finally did get up and went to grab Banks but immediately fell down again and rolled over to her back, where she stayed as the referee checked on her and called for the bell.
Northeast Wrestling announced today that WWE announcer Corey Graves will be making signing appearances for the company at the Icons of Wrestling convention in Philadelphia, PA over Royal Rumble weekend at the 2300 Arena. For more details, visit www.NortheastWrestling.com.
