WWE will broadcast Smackdown Live from Lexington, Kentucky at the Rupp Arena tonight with Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens and WWE champion AJ Styles vs. The Singh Brothers in a handicap match announced. This is the first WWE TV broadcast from Lexington in about 11 years. Locally advertised (probably dark matches) are AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title and a six man tag with Shinsuke Nakamura & Randy Orton & Bobby Roode vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn & Dolph Ziggler. Jinder Mahal is doing local publicity in the market today. If anyone is going to the taping or catches Mahal's appearances, we are seeking reports.
Set for 205 Live tonight on the WWE Network following Smackdown will be Drew Gulak and Tony Nese vs. Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali.
Kurt Angle worked Survivor Series with a torn muscle in his leg. Angle hurt it a few days before the PPV while doing cardio.
Officially set for next week's Raw is WWE Raw Tag Team champions Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. They noted on Raw last night that Ambrose and Renee Young were on their honeymoon while Sheamus was home in Dublin, Ireland on vacation.
Taz announced that Chris Jericho, who he feuded with for a short time in 1996 in the original ECW, will be his in studio guest this Friday for the 500th episode of The Taz Show, which you can listen to at www.TazShow.com. Dana Brooke noted on Instagram that her mother underwent surgery yesterday due to a health issue. We send our best to Brooke and her family.
Triple H announced on social media that NXT will be hitting the old Mid-Atlantic Wrestling stomping grounds on 1/5/18 at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium in Spartangburg, SC and 1/6/18 at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, NC. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM Eastern with online pre-sales a few days before.
