As we mentioned earlier this week on the We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show (which you can listen to by subscribing to the Elite section at www.PWInsiderElite.com), the Smackdown #UnderSiege angle backstage was actually shot earlier in the day. WWE talents were instructed to really lay in their beatings, as management (read: Vince McMahon) wanted it to look at physically brutal as possible. There was such an attention to detail that when one talent threw what was described to PWInsider as a "typical working punch", the filming was stopped and reset so that wouldn't be seen by the audience on TV. As you can imagine, the Raw talents who were the victims really earned their money that night, especially since they then had to go work their scheduled matches.
We interviewed Curt Hawkins at the Ric Flair ESPN documentary premiere on Wednesday evening and he admitted he was still feeling sore from the beating. Also currently available in the Elite section is a 30 minute discussion with Triple H, Mick Foley and Charlotte Flair about the Flair documentary and Flair's legacy, as well as exclusive interviews with Charlotte Flair, Tyson Kidd, Mark Henry and Dana Warrior from the event.
We have also have posted a collection of over 30 interviews from the past with performers from the business with horror or spooky/eccentric characters that fit into the entire Halloween season.
There will be a Four Horsemen reunion featuring Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, JJ Dillon and Barry Windham at the Heroes & Icons convention in Philadelphia this January at the 2300 Arena, which is being held over Royal Rumble 2018 weekend.
