The NWA issued the following:
NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm had his first match for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood this past weekend facing Ziggy Dice in a non-title match. After weeks of build up, the man carrying the Ten Pounds of Gold, laced up the boots to make his in-ring debut for David Marquez's Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
The era of the traveling NWA Worlds Champion saw men like Ric Flair, Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes and more travel from territory to territory to carry the Ten Pounds of Gold into these areas. With Tim Storm walking into Hollywood as champion, a surprising challenger appeared after the match.
Former TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion and Global Force World Champion Nick Aldis (FKA Magnus) walked into Championship Wrestling From Hollywood to lay down a challenge. Nick Aldis made it clear how important the legacy of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship is to him.
