SETH ROLLINS COMMENTS ON SHIELD REUNION, WHETHER IT CAN HELP ROMAN REIGNS NOT GET BOOED

As WWE moves towards a Shield reunion as the main event attraction for the 10/22 WWE TLC PPV in Minneapolis, obviously one of the strategies is to attempt to turn a segment of the audience from booing Roman Reigns and getting them behind him the way they were before that fateful night at the 2015 Royal Rumble in Philadelphia.

Back in August at the WWE 2K18 videogame launch party in New York City, PWInsider.com spoke with Seth Rollins about a number of topics, including the potential of a full fledged Shield reunion and whether it would help Reigns' standing with the fans.

I, for one, am open to the idea of it, " commented Rollins, who is the cover athlete of the WWE 2K18 videogame.  "Whether it helps Roman or not, it helps me.  I truly enjoy being out there with those guys.  We shared some great times in the ring.  If it happens, it happens.  If not, we'll all be fine."

Rollins also chimed in on fans continuing to boo Reigns despite WWE's presentation of him as a top babyface.

"I think the people that decide to boo Roman, they've made up their minds.  Some of them do it for fun. The rest out of spite.  Who knows?  The guy works hard."

Rollins, Reigns and Dean Ambrose were first introduced to the WWE main roster as The Shield in November 2012.  The trio broke up in June 2014 when Rollins turned on the group, siding with Triple H.  Since that time, all three members have held the WWE championship and, in the case of Reigns and Rollins, have headlined Wrestlemania and Summerslam events.
