You said Billy Corgan would take over the NWA on 10/1. So, will we be getting announcements on shows and talents?
Corgan already controls the NWA. He bought it. He's waiting for the existing agreements that were in place before his purchase to expire on 10/1 before he starts making any moves. The impression I have is that we will NOT be seeing any immediate announcements as Corgan is taking his time. He's not rushing to do anything because he "has" to.
Ethan Page quit EVOLVE, so was he the guy who leaked the email that made Gabe Sapolsky look like a goof and threaten people?
We are told that Page was already closing up his run in EVOLVE and just decided to finish up earlier than planned. I don't know if there was a cause and effect with the changing of him closing up his dates, but he was already on the way out.
Has there ever been a "King Kong" in pro wrestling, i.e., someone trying to wrestle dressed as the famous monkey?
King Kong was an ape, not a monkey. No one has wrestled as King Kong.
What are the odds WWE makes the Network available via regular cable?
Not very high right now. They air the linear network in Canada that way but I don't see it happening across the board. For many years, WWE wanted to have their own Network, but the reality is that no one bit on the idea and I don't think anyone will today. I think the current version is better than a channel that airs programming anyway, as you get far more for your dollar and its a much better use of the library.
Where did Nigel McGuinness disappear to this week? He wasn't on No Mercy or 205 Live.
In asking around, no one seemed to know except for one person who believed he had off for a personal commitment. It was weird timing, since the shows were in California, where McGuinness resides. If he's back on TV next week, it's a non-story. If he isnt, it's something we have to dig deeper into.
