WWE INJURY UPDATE, KANELLIS NOTE, JERICHO'S LATEST, ANGLE DOWN UNDER, RAW FALLOUT & MORE

As we broke last night here on PWInsider.com, Samoa Joe suffered a knee injury over the weekend at the WWE live events, which is why his planned match against John Cena did not take place on Raw.  The word is here will be out in the area of 4 weeks or so.

There have been reports that Xavier Woods may have also suffered a knee injury last night at the WWE live event in Texarkana, Arkansas.  We are looking into confirming what the case is there.

Also, there have been some readers who misinterpreted an Instagram post Maria Kanellis made yesterday about her husband's Mike Bennett's recovery from a painkiller addiction with some photos.  In the posting, it was noted that he is now 45 days recovered from the addiction, but some miscontrued the photos to mean he was currently in a rehab facility.  That is not the case and the couple are actually currently on the road with the Smackdown brand.

WWE will broadcast Smackdown tonight from Little Rock, Arkansas, featuring the in-ring debut of Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable as a team (if Benjamin, who lives in Houston, made it out of the city - and we continue to send our best wishes to everyone in that area dealing with the after-effects of Hurricane Harvey), Bobby Roode's second appearance on the main roster and more.

After Smackdown, 205 Live will air, featuring Brian Kendrick vs. Jack Gallagher in a No DQ match and a six man tag with Drew Gulak & Tony Nese & Noam Dar vs. Enzo Amore & Gran Metalik & Cedric Alexander.

Primo Colon, who has been out with a knee injury, is at the WWE Performance Center this week working out in advance of being cleared to return to the ring.
