Based on what we are hearing from sources backstage, tonight's Smackdown episode will solve the riddle of who Jinder Mahal will defend the WWE championship at Summerslam. The smart money is obviously John Cena, but I wouldn't be shocked by Shinsuke Nakamura, either.
Chad Gable vs. Rusev is also penciled in for tonight's Smackdown. As we reported earlier, you can also expect Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin tonight.
