GFW is holding an Impact taping today with plans to be done in time for fans to watch fireworks locally at Universal Studios. We are seeking spoiler reports.
Diamante was limping last night and the belief among some is that she will end up needing knee surgery after injuring it throwing a kick at Slammiversary. Quite a few people put her over to me in the last 48 hours for gutting through the pain and doing all of her spots after getting injured.
Gail Kim announced plans to retire last night. Kim, who has been dealing with lower back issues, did a promo stating she intended to retire at the end of the year.
There were rumblings last night that a former WWE talent or two could be coming in over the course of this week's tapings.
Grado was back as his visa was finally renewed. Rockstar Spud will be back when his visa has been resolved. The company has been working overtime on the visa situation but can't control the process.
There was a torrential downpour in Orlando yesterday, which was believed to have hurt the crowd for the taping last night, both in size and in terms of reactions. At one point, Dutch Mantel was yelling for the taping doors to be opened early just to get the crowd inside.
Tyrus was backstage last night but did not appear.
