TAJIRI OFFICIALLY GONE FROM WWE

By Mike Johnson on 2017-05-28 13:08:00

WWE star Yoshihiro Tajiri officially announced that his contract with WWE has expired.  Tajiri returned to the company last year as part of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament and was signed for the 205 Live brand, but suffered a knee injury shortly after his debut.

After being cleared to return, Tajiri had been helping out with coaching at the WWE Performance Center and made the decision that due to his age, he would not want to pursue performing full-time for WWE.  He announced in April he would be departing the company and as of this weekend, is officially gone.

Tajiri first made his mark in the United States for the original ECW with a tremendous feud against Super Crazy and was a former ECW World Television and World Tag Team champion.
