Tammy Sytch's scheduled hearing on her probation violation sentencing was pushed back this morning until 2/17/17.
The sentencing was pushed back due to Sytch having other active criminal charges pending against her. On 9/5, Sytch was arrested by Lehighton, PA police on charges of receiving stolen property (a misdemeanor in PA, which could see punishment of up to one year incarceration and/or a fine of $2,500), as well as summary charges of driving without a license (as it had been suspended upon her DUI convictions), driving an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility (meaning no insurance), displaying plate card in improper vehicle (meaning license plates were placed on a car they didn't belong to), fraudulent use or removal of registered licensed plates, operating a vehicle without valid inspection, and driving without Evidence of an Emission Inspection (something that is required in State of PA). The lesser charges carry punishment of up to 90 days incarceration and/or a $300 fine for each offense.
Sytch will be arraigned on these charges on Thursday 1/12/17 at Carbon County Court in Pennsylvania.
Sytch was arrested on those charges just 18 days into her five year probation following a judgment against her for a trio of 2015 DUIs that saw her sentenced to 97 days in jail, only to be given credit for 95 days in rehab and 2 in jail and released. Her driver's license was also revoked at that time.
On Monday 9/12 (the same day Sytch was rushed from her home in Palmerton, PA to Palmerton Hospital), the WWE Hall of Famer was charged with possession of alcohol as well as being under the influence of alcohol - both of which would violate the zero tolerance terms of her probation. On her Facebook page at the time, Sytch referred to her hospitalization as being related to her pancreas. In Sytch's autobiography A Star Shattered, which was released earlier this year, she wrote that past health issues involving pancreatitis were brought on by her heavy drinking and nearly led to her death in the past and that she had been warned by doctors that if she did not stop, it would lead to her death.
Sytch announced on social media that she had been released from the hospital on 9/20. Police sources in Palmerton, PA confirmed to PWInsider.com that just three days later, on 9/23, Sytch was brought back to Palmerton Hospital from her home after authorities were called there. Court records cite that on that date, Sytch was again charged with being under influence of alcohol, a third violation of the zero tolerance policy of her probation. Sytch was taken into custody (apparently at the hospital) and taken directly to the Carbon County Correctional Facility.
Sytch remains incarcerated since 9/23 and waiving her Gagnon 1 hearing last month, allowing authorities to hold her until her sentencing hearing on 11/18. She remains incarcerated.
