Bob Backlund, as you saw on Smackdown, is now Darren Young's "Life Coach" as part of giving Young a new on-screen direction. Young wrote about it on Twitter, commenting, "This ain't no gimmick! Announced thus far for the June WWE NXT UK tour dates are NXT champion Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, The Revival, Manny Andrade, Nia Jax, Alex Bliss, Tye Dillinger and Riddick Moss. Bobby Roode was briefly announced before a Tweet from the official WWE UK Twitter account was deleted. Additional names will be announced over the course of the day
Former NXT Tag Team champion Wesley Blake is out with a MCL injury.
Goldust & Fandango vs. Tyler Breeze & R-Truth was announced last night for Smackdown next week.
The Tyler Breeze vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match in Salina, Kansas last night at the NXT live event was said to have been awesome.
Set for this Wednesday's WWE NXT:
*The main event of the next WWE NXT Takeover will be announced.
*Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Alex Riley.
*WWE NXT Tag Team champions American Alpha vs. Cory Hollis & John Skyler.
*Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson.
*Alex Bliss vs. Rachel Ellering.
*Also appearing are WWE NXT champion Samoa Joe, William Regal, The Revival and more.
Ellering is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering and has been training of late at the I Believe in Wrestling dojo in Florida.
