Matt Wichlinski, who had been working as the Strength & Conditioning Coach at the WWE Performance Center, was let go last week and replaced by Sean Hayes, a former NFL Strength Coach for the Houston Texans.
While initially planned as stand-alone events, there's been talk of integrating the Global Cruiserweight Series into WWE NXT TV tapings this summer.
WWE NXT has a live event tonight in Salina, Kansas with WWE NXT champ Samoa Joe, WWE Women's champ Asuka, Bayley, Austin Aries, WWE NXT Tag Team champions American Alpha, Shinsuke Nakamura, Eva Marie, Finn Balor and No Way Jose advertised. The brand is running tomorrow in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and on Saturday 5/7 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If anyone attends the events, we are seeking live reports.
