TMZ.com is reporting the Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into Raja Jackson's beating of independent wrestler Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu at last night's KNOKX Pro event in California.

We've been asked by numerous readers if there will be fallout within WWE given their relationship with the company, having accredited KNOKX Pro as an officially affiliated WWE ID school. There's been no official action taken by WWE that we have heard about but it's been a topic of discussion within the company at a level I'd be surprised if the company didn't take some sort of action. Is it possible they will distance themselves from the school? Certainly. We will report more if and when we confirm anything additional. The promotion itself has apologized for the incident.
