We start off with highlights from Battleground.
Match Number One: Ricky Saints versus Ethan Page for the Men's North American Championship
Ethan and Ricky do not wait for the introduction and Page throws the first punch. Security comes into the ring to hold the men apart during the introductions.
The referee starts the match and they exchange punches. Saints with an Irish whip and hip lock take down. Ricky with another hip lock take down into a side head lock. Page with a head scissors and Saints escapes. Page with a side head lock take down. Saints backs Page into the corner but Page with punches in the corner. Saints with a back elbow. Page with a kick that is blocked. Saints with a kick and Page with a back body drop. Saints gets to the apron to avoid Ego's Edge and Page is sent over the top rope. Saints with a kick and they go to the floor. Page Irish whips Saints into the ring steps. Page gets a chair and security stops him. Triple Security stops Page as well. Saints is held back.
Ava comes out and she says there has to be a clear winner.
Page and Saints with punches on the floor. Saints goes under the bottom rope and he hits a clothesline on Page. Saints sends Page into the apron. Saints sends Page into the ring. Saints with a double sledge to the back. Saints sends Page into the turnbuckles. Saints with a chop and he mocks Page. Saints with another chop. Page sends Saints into the turnbuckles and he chops and punches Saints. Page with more chops. Saints with a clothesline and he sends Page to the floor. Saints with a punch to the midsection. They exchange punches in the crowd. Saints with punches and chops. Security pull Page and Saints out of the crowd. They punch security and Saints spears Page onto the announce table. Saints punches Page and Page punches back while the announcers try to save themselves.
The referee tells them to get back into the ring. Page with a cutter onto a chair. The referee checks on Saints while Page returns to the ring. Saints makes his way back to the ring. Page with Ego's Edge for a near fall. Page punches Saints. The referee warns Page but there is no disqualification. Saints backs Page into the corner and Saints with punches. The referee pulls Saints out of the corner and Page with a palm thrust to the throat. Page punches Saints. They exchange forearms and punches. Saints with an uppercut and Page with a super kick. Page picks up Saints and Ricky counters with a DDT. Saints with a clothesline and a second one. Saints with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a reverse DDT for a near fall.
Page with a clothesline for a near fall. Page goes for Ego's Edge but Saints escapes and connects with a forearm. Saints goes for Roshambo but Page gets to the apron. Page sends the top rope into Saints' throat followed by a cutter for the three count.
Winner: Ethan Page (new champion)
Sarah is with Jacy, Fallon, and Jazmyn.
Jacy says they would get it done and get a title match. All it took was her slapping the taste out of Stephanie's mouth. Fallon says she should be in the match since Jacy lost to Stephanie the last time they met. Jacy says Fallon lost the North American title to Stephanie. Jacy says if Fallon wants to be at ringside with her, she can.
Mike Santana says he has waited 16 years to get here. He says he is the standard of TNA. He says he thrives in these trenches. If you come at me, you better get the job done.
We go to commercial.
Josh Briggs and Inamura are in LOCKER ROOM and Briggs gives him back his vest. Inamura says he came back for Josh. Josh says he is happy Inamura came back. Inamura says they have things to accomplish. Josh says tag titles. Inamura says more. Josh says they take care of the Culling and win the tag titles. Inamura says even bigger.
Match Number Two: Mike Santana versus Tavion Heights
They lock up and Tavion with a waist lock take down. Tavion with another waist lock take down. Santana with a front face lock and Heights with a reversal and they have more reversals. Tavion with a wrist lock and Santana with a side head lock. Tavion does not move on a shoulder tackle. Santana with a drop kick. Tavion sends Santana to the apron. Santana gets back into the ring and hits a springboard cross body. Tavion with a hip lock take down and then he goes to the floor when Santana drops down. Santana with a flip dive onto Tavion. Santana sends Tavion into the ring and he hits an elbow. Santana with a face plant and a back senton for a near fall. Santana sets for a suplex and Tavion blocks it. Tavion goes for a delayed vertical suplex but Santana with a knee to esapes. Tavion with a German suplex and he gets a near fall.
Tavion gets another near fall. Tavion gets another near fall. Santana counters a suplex with one of his own and he holds on for one more and then hits the third Amigo for a near fall. Tavion with a punch and forearms. Santana with a head butt and snap mare followed by a drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Tavion runs Santana into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Santana with a knee and chop. Santana with another chop. Tavion avoids a chop and he connects with a chop. Santana chops back. Tavion comes out of the corner with a running clothesline. Tavion with a forearm and a clothesline against the ropes. Tavion with another clothesline against the ropes.
Tavion with a side head lock. Tavion catches Santana but Santana kicks Tavion. Tavion rolls through and gets Santana up but Santana with a sunset flip for a near fall. Tavion with a gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Tavion with a reverse chin lock. Tavion with a forearm and Santana with a kick and uppercut. Tavion with a clothesline in the corner. Santana with an Irish whip and chop in the corner. Tavion with an Irish whip and Santana floats over. Santana blocks a kick and he kicks Tavion. Tavion floats over and Santana rolls into a cutter for a near fall. Santana gets Tavion up but tavion gets back to his feet and he gives Santana an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Tavion with a flying clothesline and a death Valley Driver for a near fall.
Santana with a super kick. Santana catches Tavion and he hits a sit out gourdbuster. Santana with a clothesline for the three count.
Winner: Mike Santana
After the match, Santana offers his hand to Tavion and Tavion shakes it. They hug.
We go to commercial.
We are back with High Ryze. Wes says he was part of a team before. Does the connection last if the dream changes. You can only trust in yourself until the right thing happens. Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont the right people. You have a bond and that is how you shatter the glass ceiling. Igwe says they made their mold together. Wes says they will rise.
Andre tells Uriah and Kale to slow it down a bit. He says you need to know when to seize the moment and when to take risks.
Connors says they need to take risks.
Uriah and Kale ask Ava for a match for next week.
Ava says they will be in action against Dark State next week.
Uriah says there are four of them and two of them.
Ava points out there are three of you and she leaves.
Andre tries to figure out the right naughty word to say and he says they are not a team.
We take a look back at footage from Tony D'Angelo and Channing Lorenzo, with the return of Luca Crusifino.
Tony is at table and Luca shows up to sit at TABLE.
Tony says he thought Stacks left you in the desert and you look like you came back from vacation.
Luca says Stacks drove him out further in the desert and left him out.
Tony asks Luca why didn't he reach out.
Luca says he would have put you at risk.
Tony says this doesn't smell right.
Luca says he had to come back.
Tony says you decided to come back at Battleground and you cost him the match.
Luca says that wasn't his intention.
Tony says he doesn't know who to trust.
Luca says he can trust him.
Trick Williams walks in the back.
