Kzy vs. Marcus Mathers
They circle and lock up. Kzy goes behind, but Marcus Mathers reverses things and grabs a waistlock of his own. Kzy grooves and moves out of it and grabs an arm. Mathers rolls out of the hold and cranks Kzy’s arm. Kzy rolls and worms out of the hold with a little dancing, as well. Mathers offers to dance with Kzy, but then kicks him in the midsection. Kzy hits the ropes and avoids Mathers before hitting a blockbuster. Kzy hits a running attack in the corner and then snapmares Mathers. Kzy slaps on a chinlock. Mathers fights out of it, but Kzy cuts him off.
Mathers blocks a running attack in the corner and then hits a springboard crossbody. Mathers hits a running attack and then rolls into a kick for a two-count. Mathers slaps on a chinlock and then lifts Kzy into a belly-to-back suplex. Mathers hits the same suplex again for a two-count. Mathers is able to slam down Kzy for a two-count. He slams him down again and then goes for a suplex, but Kzy blocks it. Mathers drives Kzy into the corner and tries to Irish whip him, but Kzy blocks it. Mathers chops Kzy, but Kzy blocks a running attack. Kzy then hits a big uppercut.
Kzy hits a running shoulder attack in the corner and then hits a Northern Lights with a bridge for a two-count. Kzy lifts up Mathers, but Marcus wiggles out and gets a roll-up for a two-count. Mathers tackles Kzy down and hits a springboard cutter. Mathers hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count. Mathers goes for the Broad Street Buster, but Kzy blocks it. Mathers tries again, but Kzy wiggles out and hits a hard uppercut. They exchange some strikes until Mathers hits a kip-up cutter and the Broad Street Buster for a two-count.
Mathers climbs to the top rope but reads Kzy moving out of the way and doesn’t go for the move. He drops down to the mat and exchanges strikes with Kzy. Kzy hits the ropes and hits a hard running uppercut. Kzy lifts Mathers, but Mathers reverses. Kzy counters and spikes Mathers on the mat. Kzy hits Impact and then climbs to the top rope. Kzy hits a Frog Splash for the win!
Winner: Kzy
After the match, Kzy and Marcus Mathers show respect for each other. Kzy grabs a microphone and pumps up the crowd for Dragon Gate USA’s rebirth.
Starlight Kid and AZM (Neo Genesis) vs. Natsuko Tora and Konami (HATE)
HATE gets off to a quick start and immediately attacks Starlight Kid and AZM. Tora focuses on Starlight Kid and sends her into the ring post. Konami works over AZM on the outside, as well. Tora clubs down on Starlight Kid as Konami whips AZM. Konami sends AZM into the ring and chokes her on the ropes. Konami throws AZM across the ring twice and then steps on her in the corner. Konami snapmares AZM and then stretches her down on the mat. Starlight Kid tries to help, but Tora comes in and puts her in a sleeper.
AZM is able to make it to the ropes to break Konami’s hold, but is then tied up in the ropes. Konami knocks Starlight Kid off the apron and then snapmares AZM. She follows it up with a kick and a relaxed cover that AZM kicks out of. Tora tags in and spits water into AZM’s face. Tora then does the same to the referee. The referee lets it slide, and Tora covers AZM for a two-count.
AZM starts to fight back, and she exchanges strikes with Tora. AZM blocks a suplex and hits one of her own. Starlight Kid tags in and climbs to the top rope. She hits a flying crossbody for a two-count. Starlight Kid hits the ropes, but Konami hits her in the back with a knee. Konami gets into the ring, but Starlight Kid is able to take both HATE members down. Starlight Kid hits a double running kick to both of her opponents. She dances on Tora and then hits a standing moonsault for a two-count.
Tora shakes it off and hits a forearm. Tora and Starlight Kid exchange strikes until Starlight Kid hits a series of forearms. Starlight Kid tries a crossbody, but Tora catches her and hits a slam. Tora hits a senton for a two-count. Konami tags in and splashes Starlight Kid against the ropes and follows it up with a sliding knee strike. Konami then locks on an armbar. Starlight Kid is able to get to the ropes to break the hold.
Starlight Kid comes off the ropes and hits a headscissors. AZM tags back in and trips up Konami. She then rapid-fires some running strikes and charges Konami in the corner. Konami moves out of the way and Tora comes in to hit a splash. Konami slams AZM and makes a relaxed cover. Tora hits a crossbody on both AZM and Starlight Kid. Both HATE members climb to the top rope, but Neo Genesis climbs up and pulls them both off. AZM gets a two-count on Konami and then locks on an arm submission. Konami makes it to the ropes to break the hold.
AZM climbs to the top rope but misses a double stomp. Tora hits a shoulder tackle on AZM and Konami hits a kick off the top rope. Tora hits a cannonball on AZM and Konami hits a running kick. Starlight Kid breaks up the pin. AZM blocks Konami’s attack, but Konami recovers with a German Suplex and a bridge for a two-count. AZM trips up Konami and rolls her up for the win!
Winners: Starlight Kid and AZM (Neo Genesis)
After the match, HATE attacks Neo Genesis before leaving the ring.
Ho Ho Lun vs. Rhys Maddox
They lock up and Ho Ho Lun goes behind. Rhys Maddox reverses with an armbar, but Lun goes back behind. Maddox counters again and cranks an arm. Lun rolls out of it and trips up Maddox. Lun works over the ankle of Maddox, but Maddox escapes. They lock up again and Lun grabs a side headlock. Maddox sends Lun into the ropes but eats a kick. Maddox hits the ropes, avoids Lun, and hits a headscissors. Maddox rolls into a kick for a two-count. Maddox hits the ropes, but Lun trips him up and kicks him in the head for a two-count.
Lun kicks at the legs of Maddox and then slaps on a leg submission. Lun gets a couple of two-counts during the submission, then readjusts and stretches the leg of Maddox again. Lun kicks at the leg again and then DDTs it. Lun then kicks Maddox in the corner. Lun sends Maddox to the apron, but Maddox counters by springboarding back into the ring with a cutter. Maddox hits a couple of clotheslines, a kick, a knee, and an enzuigiri. Maddox hits a springboard forearm for a two-count.
Maddox tries to lift Lun, but Lun counters with a hip toss and a kick. Maddox dodges Lun’s corner charge but eats a kick. Lun climbs to the second rope and hits a missile dropkick. Lun hits another kick for a two-count. Maddox fights off a Lun waistlock and hits a DDT for a two-count. Maddox lifts Lun, but Lun reverses into a roll-up. They exchange roll-ups until Lun stacks up Maddox for the victory.
Winner: Ho Ho Lun
Ultimo Dragon & La Estrella & El Cucuy vs. Evan Rivers & Judas Icarus & Travis Williams (Sovereign)
Travis Williams and El Cucuy start things off with a lock-up. Williams quickly grabs an arm and cranks it. El Cucuy reverses, but Williams rolls and spins out of it. Williams ducks a clothesline and uses his speed to avoid El Cucuy. El Cucuy eventually hits a back elbow and tags in La Estrella. Judas Icarus protects Williams from hitting the turnbuckles on an Irish whip and then tags in.
Icarus grabs a side headlock but is sent into the ropes and eats a dropkick from La Estrella. La Estrella then hits a handstand flipping headscissors. Williams saves Icarus from an Irish whip and La Estrella goes flying through the ropes on a charging attack. Sovereign double-teams La Estrella and sends him back into the ring. Rivers tags in and works La Estrella over on the mat. Rivers slams La Estrella and tags in Williams, who gets a two-count.
Williams works over La Estrella’s arm and drags him down to the mat. Williams stomps on the arm and gets another two-count. Icarus tags in and double-teams La Estrella with Williams for a near fall. Icarus works La Estrella over in the corner and steps on his face. Rivers tags back in and tries to triple-team La Estrella. La Estrella fights it off and tags in Ultimo Dragon.
Ultimo Dragon fires off some kicks at Rivers and fights off a triple team. He sends Rivers and Icarus to the outside and hits Williams with a back body drop. He snaps Williams’ leg and puts pressure on the ankle. Sovereign breaks it up, which brings in El Cucuy and La Estrella. El Cucuy hits a splash and a hip attack on Sovereign.
La Estrella hits a double dropkick. El Cucuy sends Rivers outside and hits a dive. Back in the ring, Ultimo Dragon kicks Rivers and trips him up. He then rolls Rivers up for the win.
Winners: Ultimo Dragon, La Estrella, and El Cucuy
Ben-K and Hyo vs. Willie Mack and Rich Swann vs. Alec Price and Jimmy Lloyd (Gahbage Pail Kids)
Hyo and Alec Price start with a lock-up. Price grabs an arm. Hyo rolls out and counters. They exchange counters and stare down. Jimmy Lloyd and Rich Swann tag in. Swann hits an armdrag and tackles Lloyd, but Lloyd hits a neckbreaker and tags Price back in.
Swann fights off a double team briefly, but Price and Lloyd land some kicks and a springboard crossbody. Lloyd hits a moonsault. Mack comes in and levels both. Ben-K and Mack trade shoulder tackles until Ben-K wins the exchange. Lloyd and Price enter but get leveled.
Swann and Mack return. Hyo headscissors Mack. Ben-K hits a backbreaker on Swann. Lloyd and Price clear the ring and hit stereo dives. Swann and Hyo exchange strikes. Hyo rolls up Swann and hits a stomp. Price climbs the top rope but is cut off. A tower of doom spot leads to Price hitting a double blockbuster. Swann follows with a frog splash. Lloyd hits a piledriver. Mack takes out Lloyd. Price hits a dropkick on Mack.
Swann hits a spinning kick and a handspring cutter on Hyo. Mack lifts Hyo as Swann hits a flipping neckbreaker. Mack dives to the outside. Swann hits a 450 Splash for the win.
Winners: Willie Mack and Rich Swann
After the match, Mack and Swann dance with a fan.
Matt Sydal Appearance
Matt Sydal comes to the ring and discusses how the gate opened between Ring of Honor and Dragon Gate about 20 years ago. He credits that relationship as foundational to the kind of WrestleMania weekend action we see today. Sydal hypes Dragon Gate USA’s show on Friday.
YAMATO & Dragon Kid & Susumu Yokosuka (PARADOX) vs. Shun Skywalker & Kota Minoura & ISHIN (Z-Brats)
Kota Minoura and Susumu Yokosuka begin with chain wrestling. Dragon Kid and Shun Skywalker tag in next. Skywalker mocks Dragon Kid but gets taken over with agility. ISHIN and YAMATO tag in. ISHIN offers a handshake, then tries a cheap shot. YAMATO blocks it. They trade strikes until ISHIN lands a suplex and stomps YAMATO.
The action spills into the crowd. ISHIN and Minoura dominate their opponents. ISHIN tries to suplex YAMATO off the stage but fails. ISHIN throws YAMATO into the ring post and kicks Dragon Kid. Skywalker and the Z-Brats triple-team Dragon Kid.
Minoura chokes Dragon Kid with his shirt. ISHIN hits a DDT for a two-count. Dragon Kid finally escapes and tags in Yokosuka, who fends off all three opponents. Dragon Kid dives on Skywalker. YAMATO and ISHIN brawl until Dragon Kid hits a DDT. Yokosuka hits a lariat, and YAMATO and Yokosuka hit Ragnarok on ISHIN for the win.
Winners: YAMATO, Dragon Kid, and Susumu Yokosuka (PARADOX)
After the match, Shun Skywalker tries to attack the referee but is stopped by PARADOX.
YAMATO grabs the microphone and says Dragon Gate made new history tonight in the United States. Rich Swann comes out and credits Dragon Gate—and especially PARADOX—with shaping his career. He challenges YAMATO to a match on Friday, and YAMATO accepts.
