We are told that during a WWE Town Hall today for company employees, he was surprised by Stephanie McMahon, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels with the announcement.
We are told Levesque was completely caught off guard and got very emotional. He also joked he was going to kill Nick Khan.
Levesque is already in the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of DX, so this will make him a two-time inductee.
Obviously, a WWE announcement will be forthcoming, but HHH is the main event guy this year.
