WWE UPDATES ON BECKY LYNCH, BOBBY ROODE, THE STREET PROFITS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2024-11-18 10:31:00

During her appearance at Vulturefest over the weekend, Becky Lynch stated that her last moment in WWE, where she lost to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match on Raw would not be her final moment.  She did not explicitly state she was returning.  It was a more "read between the lines" deal.  As we noted last week, sources at both Netflix and Raw believe she will be back in the mix for the company by the time the Netflix-Raw deal commences.

WWE Producer Bobby Roode was at WWE HQ last week.  Roode has been getting tons of praise in his role since stepping up and working on a number of top WWE main events, filling the role of Michael Hayes.  Hayes has been taking time off to deal with a personal situation (which has been said to be medical in nature.  We are told Hayes is expected back sooner than later.

Several NXT personalities, including Matt Bloom, Brogan Finlay and Wren Sinclair were in Los Angeles over the weekend, likely for something in connection to the CW Network.

Work is well underway on WWE 2K25, including motion capture work.  I wouldn't expect anything official about the game until after the New Year.

In regard to questions some readers have had about the status of The Street Profits after comments were made on social media about their unhappiness, the team are currently locked into deals with WWE and it's likely the statements were to garner attention more than anything else.  We are told that Montez Ford has been working on some outside projects of late (he's among the troupe of WWE talents now signed with Paradigm as part of their Sports division) but beyond that we are told there's no belief internally that he or Angelo Dawkins are exiting.
