PA Governor Josh Shapiro has removed the tweet featuring his Q&A session where he announced Wrestlemania would be among the events coming to Philadelphia in 2026 as part of the 250th Birthday of the United States.
As PWInsider.com previously reported, sources who would be involved in Wrestlemania plans noted that no deal for 2026 has been locked in as of this AM for the company's flagship weekend.
Philadelphia has hosted WrestleMania twice, including WrestleMania XL in 2024, main evented by Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes, and WrestleMania XV in 1999, headlined by Steve Austin vs. The Rock.
