Yesterday, Mark Henry was discussing CM Punk and a potential return to AEW while co-hosting SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio. Henry stated that he would bring Punk back to the company and wouldn't even request an apology, just an acknowledgement that "grown men will disagree" and that Punk shouldn't have made those disagreements public and that they won't happen again. He said that Punk should acknowledge that he won't let his personal feeling or concerns interfere with AEW business again, because the reality is that AEW is better with Punk around.
A fan then responded to "Keep Punk retireed" on Instagram.
Punk himself responded to the fan, writing, "You liked your own comment. Bold. I’ll wrestle again just to upset you. You’ll match no matter where.”
Punk remains under contract to AEW as of this writing and PWInsider.com is told he has been doing some acting work of late while rehabbing the torn triceps suffered wrestling Jon Moxley in his last match.
