While World Wrestling Entertainment has yet to officially respond to the lawsuit brought against them by MLW Media, LLC, the parent company of Major League Wrestling, MLW did file a request before The U.S. District Court, California Northern District to have the lawsuit heard before a United States District Court Judge on 1/25, as opposed to a Magistrate Judge. This is usually done because the Judge would have more power legally than a Magistrate would.
The case has now be assigned to a new Judge, who has ordered a case management plan be filed by both parties by 4/11 with a case management meeting set for 4/21 in Oakland, California, all of which is a little later than initially ordered.
