GCW OWNER TEASING HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM DEBUT

Brett Lauderdale, owner of Game Changer Wrestling, tweeted a photo of ECW in the Hammerstein Ballroom that has some believing he was teasing GCW could soon be making a debut in the legendary venue:

PWInsider.com checked with sources at the venue and we are told that there is no deal locked in for professional wrestling events currently but they recently had a wrestling promotion doing a site survey, so it does appear there is smoke to the fire.   No word on when such an event could take place...yet.

Since first holding ECW PPV events and TV tapings in 2000, the Hammerstein Ballroom has hosted WWE's ECW One Night Stand PPVs, an episode of ECW on Syfy, Impact Wrestling, New Japan, Ring of Honor and even the Urban Wrestling Federation.

GCW's next major event will be the 10/9 Jon Moxley vs. Nick Gage Death Match in Atlantic, City, NJ, which will stream live on FITE.TV.
