MORE WWE SUMMERSLAM NOTES FROM VEGAS

PWInsider.com is told the script for the WWE Summerslam 2021 cold open video was written by WWE Creative Director Rebecca Balsey.

Live, Alexa Bliss received zero reaction coming out.  We are told that Damien Priest vs. Sheamus had a hard time building crowd reactions live as well.

There was talk over the weekend that WWE may have filmed some content with magician Criss Angel while in Vegas.  Angel has appeared as a Monday Night Raw guest host in the past and used to perform one of his shows at the old WWE New York restaurant in Times Square.

We are told that Logan Paul having a cameo during Baron Corbin vs. Big E will play out further.

The payment systems handling contactless payments in Allegiant Stadium have gone down.  Fans waiting on line for purchases were advised to go back to their seats.  The video screens in the concourse of the Stadium aren't broadcasting the matches, but just a photo of Roman Reigns vs. John Cena.  That may be to prevent fans from standing around and watching the matches due to COVID-19 concerns.

Interesting to note that advertisements for Peacock on the broadcast are not seen by fans live at the PPV.
