World Wrestling Entertainment announced that the 2021 Summerslam PPV will be held Saturday 8/21 in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders and UNLV Rebels Football. The domed stadium can fit up to 72,000 fans for football, which means WWE could potentially fit even more into the stadium for the show.
The announcement was made during NBC's coverage of the Belmont Stakes. Tickets will go on sale officially at 6/18 but there may be online pre-sales in advance of that date.
