As PWInsider.com broke exclusively in the Elite section on Sunday, WWE reached out to management for UFC fighter Paige Vanzant in regard to a potential role at the Summerslam PPV this August several weeks ago. There is no word how far talks have progressed, nor whether the role was for Vanzant to do something physical at the event.
Vanzant's management confirmed our report to FOXSports.
Vanzant went to the finals of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars this season and recently booked a film role in the forthcoming "Kickboxer: Retaliation."
