The first five minutes saw "not much happen" while a lot happened. The crowd was crazy for the match. The women took time to sell the importance of it all. Then, it started for real. They sold that it was a thirty minute match so they sold that you don't rush it. .... The match started for real when Bayley went to help Sasha up, and she got dirty. Game on.
Bayley got a two with a Face Crusher at eight minutes in. Sasha then tried to used the ropes to get a pin. The ref stopped her so she used the distraction to poke Bayley in the eyes at around 21:20. She is up 1-0. At 10 minutes in, that is the score.
Bayley got a suplex at 11 minutes to tie it. Sasha whipped Bayley into the ring steps and dragged her back in, but got a two count only. Sash threw her out to the floor and went ultra heel throwing Bayley into the steps and mouthed off at her family. She took the champ in and got another two. Since that didn't work, she threw Bayley into the clock. Bayley got counted out. It is 2-1. Izzy is crying as we hit the halfway point at 2-1.
Sasha worked over Bayley back in the ring. We are under 14 minutes Sasha is trying for another pin, but not getting it. She is using ever trick in the book but it didn't work. Out of nowhere with 12:40 left, Bayley got a pin out of nowhere. Back to even, but Sash is in control still.
Or is she, Bayley is coming back. Two count only with a face plant. Bayley hit a series of elbows but only got a two due to her back. The fans love it. Bayley got Sasha in the Tree Of Woe and got a two with an elbow. Bayley went for the suplex from the top but Sasha got out and hit the double knee. She went for the cover and got a two.
Sasha tied Bayley up in the turnbuckle but missed a spear as the fans chanted "Better than Raw". Down on the floor Bayley went after Sasha's hand, then shoulder. Seven minutes left. I could see a tie at 30 minutes with the fans chanting for five more. Bayley is showing she will do anything to save her title. So will Sasha to get it as she threw her into the steps on the floor.
The announcers are now selling less than six minutes left. Bayley hit a Bayley To Belly on the floor after she caught Sasha coming off of with a plancha. Bayley could only get a two when they got back in. Still tied. We are at 4:30.
Bay ran up to the top rope where Sasha was and hit the suplex. But Sash hit the rope. We are still tied. They just sold what happens if we tie. Saxon says a draw. Graves mentions Michaels and Hart and says OT.
Back on top Bayley hit the reverse Rana but Sasha got right up and locked on the Bank Statement. Bayley has to hold on for a little under two minutes. The announcers sell that Sasha get it right due to the damage on her hands.
Bayley makes the ropes but Sasha powers her back with forty seconds left Bayley grinds her hand. Sasha hits a Bank Statement but Bayley slaps on a submission and they say Sash tapped out as time was expiring to win 3-2. The tap came at two seconds left.
Lita, Charlotte, Becky and Stephanie McMahon were at ringside clapping for her.
The whole NXT roster came out. HHH gave Sasha flowers as she broke down. The crowd chanted thank you Sasha. Clapped in the ring. HHH then went in and gave Bayley flowers as the crowd chanted, "You Deserve It!" They showed Sasha and she flashed a look that showed she agreed.
Do I really need to tell you if that match was great? I didn't think so.
