ROH TV champion Tomasso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal
They locked up and Lethal was backed into the corner. They broke clean. They locked up again and this time, Tomasso was backed up. Another clean break. Ciampa shoulderblocked him down for a one count. Tomasso ended up on the outside and Lethal hit a pair of suicide dives to the outside. He nailed a third, sending Ciampa into the first row.
Ciampa comes back, drilling Lethal into the railing with a kick. He worked over Lethal, who made a comeback with a big elbow. Lethal ducked a clothesline and nailed a series of chops. Lethal went for the springboard elbow but was caught with a back cracker.
They battled back and forth over a suplex until Ciampa suplexed Lethal over the top to the floor, tumbling over with him. The crowd chanted, “Holy sh**.†They battled back and forth until Lethal nailed a German suplex for a three count.

Lethal attempted to score several pinfalls early in the second fall. Ciampa came back to cinch in the Rings of Saturn but Jay made it to the ropes. They battled back and forth with forearms and punches. Lethal went for another handspring elbow but Ciampa sidestepped it and caught him with an RKO.
Ciampa worked over Lethal and placed him on the top but Lethal fought him off and slipped underneath, nailing Project Ciampa for a two count. They battled back and forth and the referee was bumped. Ciampa did the German suplexes and the fans chanted “Chris Benoit.†A LOT of fans did it.
Truth Martini came to ringside. Lethal grabbed a knee brace and drilled Ciampa with it for a two count. Lethal nailed a flying elbow but Ciampa kicked up at one and went into a super human comeback. Lethal drilled him with several superkicks. Lethal nailed a handspring into a cutter for the pin.

Martini handed Lethal the belt. Lethal took the mic and said, “There is a house in New Orleans and it is the House of Truth.â€
So, Lethal has turned.
Kevin Steen vs. Michael Elgin
Big reactions for both men. Lots of streamers for Steen. They began slugging it out immediately and went to the floor. Steen tossed Elgin into the railing. They brawled all over the floor and it was glorious.
They battled back and forth. Steen nailed Elgin with a boot to the head while he was draped on the ropes. Elgin came back, deadlifting Sreen up into a back suplex. Steen went for a Sharpshooter but Elgin slipped out and nailed a Black Hole Slam. He went to the top for a twisting senton splash but Steen rolled out of the way.
Elgin went for another deadlift suplex but Steen bit his hand. He worked over Elgin for a two count. Elgin came back with a powerbomb but Steen nailed an F5. They battled back and forth with a series of big punches and forearms. Elgin nailed a series of stiff forearms for a two count. He nailed a powerbomv on the ring apron.
Elgin sent Steen into the ringpost. He nailed a tombstone on Steen. Steen came back with a Package Piledriver for a two count. Steen went for a swanton but missed. Elgin nailed a powerbomb into the buckles, then a sitdown powerbomb for another near fall.
Elgin placed Steen on the top rope for a superplex but Steen turned it around into a Falcon’s Arrow in mid-air for another two count. Steen went for a Package Piledriver but was backdropped over. Elgin regained control and nailed a series of powerbombs. The fans chanted for “ROH.â€
Elgin worked over Steen with a KILLER clothesline, a powerbomb and then Steen’s own Package Piledriver for the pin.

Elgin will now challenge IWGP champion Kazuchi Okada on 5/17.
There was a huge "Thank you both" chant and a huge reaction to the match. This was just a brutal, stiff bout. Really, really loved this.
