After airing just two episodes, it appears TLC has yanked wrestling-based reality series The Bussey Bunch, which followed the lives of the Bussey family, who promote Arlington, Texas' based Professional Championship Wrestling. Neither scheduled episode aired on Tuesday, instead being replaced by episodes of L.A. Ink. TLC has removed all reference to the series from their website as well.
The decision was said to have come as a shock to those involved with the series, including a contingent of wrestlers who work for the company that congregated to watch the show together. The family has not made any comment on the series being pulled.
The debut episodes last Tuesday scored a 0.25 and a 0.26 at 9 and 9:30 PM, respectively. The replay episodes later that evening starting at midnight garnered 0.22 and 0.15 ratings, respectively.
