RECAP OF HILLBILLY JIM'S SIRIUS RADIO SHOW

1. Starts the show at 10:02AM with the usual "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy".

2. Hillbilly says HEE HAW & says wherever you are, he welcomes you here in Mud Lick Kentucky. He says he got his peeps in the studio, says cousin Spike's with him & had some grits, greens, redeyed gravy & country ham. He briefly talked about Fred Imus' show that's on before him: www.sirius.com/outlawcountry , says he'll be talking about Nick Bockwinkel on his "Backstage Pass" segment & says he'll have Uncle Percy Mandoberg on the show later.

3. Plays Alabama's "Dixieland Delight", Hulk Hogan's Hillbilly Jim promo, Dwight Yoakam's "Please, Please Baby" & Willie Nelson's "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys.

4. Hillbilly says Kentucky's looking pretty this time of the year, mentioned about ZZ Top being on last week's show & gives a shout out to them. He says they were taken back a bit in regards to the roads coming to the studio, but Spike helped them out coming here. He says Halloween's coming, tells kids when they're out there to be careful & says when he was a kid, he used to get candy apples & candy corn on Halloween. He then plugs his email hillbillyjim@sirius-radio.com & his toll free request line 877-33-SIRIUS & press #63 & says Steve Earle produced this song ["Work To Do"] but this lady [Allison Moorer] is doing this song.

5. Plays Allison Moorer's "Work To Do", Merle Haggard's "CC Waterback" & The Band's "The Night They Drove Old Dixie's Down".

6. Hillbilly says The Band's a legendary 60's band that has influenced everyone, says George [Jones] & Merle has done a new album called "Kickin' Out The Footlights...Again": http://tinyurl.com/ydmjbu , says each has done each other's songs & says 1 of them is a Duke Ellington song. He says later on he'll mention some emails that fans have been sending him & says this guy [Webb Pierce] was the original Rhinestone Cowboy.

8. Hillbilly says he hopes you're buckled up wherever you are, says he likes it when it gets cooler & he feels his oats. He again says Percy will be on the show later, says he may give out another recipe & says after the break, he'll go into his "Southern Rock Pick Of The Week" & says it'll be

10. Hillbilly says "Spirit In The Sky" is a song from the 70's, says he can't do his "Southern Rock Pick Of The Week" yet because Spike didn't give it to him, so he tells Spike to go out in the truck where there may be some chickens there & get it.

11. Plays David Allan Coe's "Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile", Pasty Montana's "I Want To Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart", Mojo Nixon promo for his "Halloween Hell-Raising Hillbilly Hoedown" on 10/31 at 4PM ET: www.sirius.com/outlawcountry , Kris Kristofferson's "The Best Of All Possible Worlds" & Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl".

12. Hillbilly says his "Southern Rock Pick Of The Week" & says it's about Michael Buffalo Smith. He says Michael's the editor in chief of Gritz Magazine, which is a southern rock band magazine & plugs Michael's site: www.michaelbuffalo.com . He says Michael's quite a performer, writer & has a book that has 500 or 600 pages that has southern rock interviews & it's called "Outlaws, Rebels & Renegades" & it's available only at www.lulu.com : http://tinyurl.com/sezem . 13. Plays Michael Buffalo Smith's "Hard Drivin' Man", ZZ Top's "Whiskey'n Mama", Marty Stuart's "Now That's Country" & Grandpa Jones' "Mountain Dew".

14. Hillbilly says Grandpa Jones was his friend on "Hee Haw", says both would talk about hunting & fishing & says Jones has left a path for everyone to follow in the country music world. He tells Spike that deer season's happening now & says he saw that the Dept. Of Natural Resources has warned motorists in Illinois to look out for deers, because there's so many deers out there. He says last year there more than 24,000 deer related accidents & 11 people died from it, says the highest of this was in '87 or '89 & says that's amazing. He tells the hunters to get their tags & get ready in the woods, because it's time to get some deers & we'll have some [what sounded like] "venesin" for dinner. He says he'll play a tune that he liked when he was a young feller, says there was nothing better than getting in the pickup truck, rolling down the dirt road & listen to these boys play this song that made you feel young & alive.

15. Plays The Bellamy Brothers' "Let Your Love Flow", Steve Earle's "I'm Looking Through You", Terry Funk's Hillbilly Jim promo, Johnny Horton's "I'm Coming Home" & Bob Seger's "Wreck This Heart".

16. Hillbilly says you can't think about The Motor City without thinking of the song "Wreck This Heart" that's from the "Face The Promise" album. He says when he thinks of Detroit City he thinks about next year in the Spring time in April for Wrestlemania 23 that'll be in Detroit again & says he hopes to be a part of it. He says he goes back years ago when he thinks about Wrestlemania 3 at the Pontiac Silverdome, says there's really great fans there & says he appreciates & loves them very much. He thanks some of the fans that email him, gives a shout out to a fan named Kevin Leberts who took the liberty to [as he says it] "Raiderize" Hillbilly Jim.

Hillbilly says that means that the Oakland Raiders have the most wackiest & craziest fans that enjoy the game & they always get to the games & dress in costumes. He says Kevin took a Hillbilly Jim character & "Raiderized" it some football helmets, says he wore the wig, sent Hillbilly a photo of it & says he looked good. He tells Kevin that he must be a hit at Halloween because they gotta have lots of fun with that & tells him that he appreciated that. He also says hello to a fan named Josh Starlette who saw Hillbilly at a music show that he did in Bowling Green, Kentucky & says Josh told him that he loves his radio show.

Hillbilly says that's what this is all about by getting feedback from people, says it's the people's show & he's keeping it all real. He says he's showing it by loving southern rock & doing his "Southern Rock Pick Of The Week" & says he wants Sirius to be the headquarters of southern rock. He says the fans can help do that by emailing & calling him. He says it's time to kick it off with a set of smoking, sizzling, tantalizing tunes.

17. Plays Uncle Tupelo & Joe Ely's "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?", Drive By Truckers' "My Sweet Annette", Johnny Cash & June Carter's "Long Legged Guitar Pickin' Man", Flatt & Scruggs' "Nashville Cats".

18. Hillbilly asks Spike if he's ever seen any of those antique road shows on TV, Hillbilly says it's a show that has people bring things that they have & wonders if they're worth anything & when they bring them on, they see that it's actually treasures. He admits to watching those shows & says he finds them interesting, says on the show they'll say: "Well Hillbilly we're glad you brought this in here because this is a national treasure". He says it's always good to see the look of the person's face when they melt down & don't realize what the guy's saying to them. He then talks about a guy who's a lawyer in Harrison, Arkansas had his wife pay $2.00 for a hand sewn pillow.

Hillbilly says it was made up of 55 to 60 of felt pennets like the ones that you get at baseball games, when you go see the Cardinals or Detroit Tigers that're having a World Series. He says it has 17 baseball players from the World War 1 era, again says the lady paid $2.00 for it & says when it went up for auction, it sold for $1,500. He says the lady couldn't believe it, says the opening bid was $49.00 & ended up to $1,500.29. He says that shows you to not throw out anything, tells Spike that Percy don't throw out anything & says he might ought to. He says this shows that someone elses junk is someone elses treasure & says he's all about that. He says he'll play a treasure of a song by a guy [Johnny Paycheck] that we lost not too long ago, says we miss him alot, says we got lots of fancy recordings on him & says he was the real deal.

19. Plays Johnny Paycheck's "Colorado Cool-Aid", George Jones' "Love Bug", Leon Russell's "A 6 Pack To Go", Merle Haggard's Outlaw Country promo, Merle Haggard's "The Bottle Let Me Down" & Rodney Crowell's "Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight".

20. Hillbilly says it's time for his "This Week In Wrestling History" & says in '92, HBK beat The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith for the Intercontinental belt. He says in '82, The Strongbows beat Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito for the tag titles. He then says in '77, Ricky Steamboat beat Ric Flair for the US belt. He says it's time for his "Backstage Pass" & says it's about Nick Bockwinkel: http://tinyurl.com/ylxqxg . He says Nick shows class & a 2nd generation wrestler who held the AWA title 6 times. He says Nick was trained by his dad Warren Bockwinkel as well as Lou Thesz, so it showed that Nick knew what he was doing in the ring & says it showed with his career.

Hillbilly says Nick in the 50's was a football player who had a knee injury, says he had to withdrawl for it & became a wrestler. He says Nick started wrestling in the late 50's/early 60's & says at '70 at 36 years old, he became the NWA Georgia heavyweight champ & after that his career took off. He says Nick's wrestled with people like Ray "The Crippler" Stevens, says Nick was managed by a guy that he's got to get on his show & says it's Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. He says Nick's 1 of the guys that Bobby's lead to a great career, says both Nick & Bobby were the AWA tag belts on 3 different occasions & says Bobby not only managed Nick, but tagged with him.

Hillbilly says Nick's reign was a long 1 & was noted for having some of the most articulate interviews of anyone in the business. He says as the old saying goes if you ask Nick about something, he'd tell you all about where it came from. He says if you told Nick what time it was, he'd tell you as to how he made his watch. He says Nick was really sharp, says in & out of the ring he's 1st class & says he remembers Nick being from the old school of guys that'd dress nicely. He says Nick had the blonde hair that was laid back & says for over 4 decades, Nick layed it all down there his style & is something else. He says Nick was a WWF road agent for awhile after retiring.

Hillbilly says Nick's a wonderful guy who's a great character, says he's also a real smart businessman who's done many business ventures. He says Nick's also smart in the stock market, says this shows that athletes don't have to be dummies & says Nick ain't 1. He says that's his "Backstage Pass" & says since he's talking about wrestling, he'll play a song buy another guy [Jimmy Hart] that can really talk & says a few words in about 2 minutes that you can't figure out what he said for a week.

21. Plays Jimmy Hart's "Eat Your Heart Out, Rick Springfield", Credence Clearwater Revival's "Hey Tonight", Hank Williams Jr.'s "Only Daddy That'll Walk The Line" & Brenda Lee's "Jambalaya [On The Bayou]".

22. Hillbilly says Brenda's in both the Country Music & Rock & Roll Music Hall Of Fame's, then talks about an email that he got from a fan named Brandon Bush from New Jersey. He says Brandon tells him that he watches old Coliseum Home Video [WWF's former company] tapes of him, then Brandon & his friends move the furniture & do the [hillbilly] dance with the song "Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy". Hillbilly says he appreciates that, he's tickled pink & tells Brandon & his friends to be careful when doing that. 23. Plays Charley Pride's "Did You Think To Pray", Dale Watson's "Fox On The Run", Dusty Rhoads' Hillbilly Jim promo & Pat Haney's "Come On Back To Bowling Green & Marry Me".

24. Hillbilly says he gets lots of request for "Come On Back To Bowling Green & Marry Me" & says he's happy to be your southern rock leader. He says he supports our troops that're out there laying it all on the line & says he's keeping them in his prayers. He says this guy [Jerry Lee Lewis] doing duets with people like Jimmy Page, John Fogerty & Neil Young & says he loves this song.

25. Plays Jerry Lee Lewis' "39 & Holding", The Byrds' "Drug Store Truck Drivin' Man", Willie Nelson & Waylon Jennings "Good Hearted Woman".

26. Hillbilly says you can't have an Outlaw Country show without Willie & Waylon because they're the original outlaws & says "Good Hearted Woman" is from the album "Wanted! The Outlaws". He says here in Mud Lick, Kentucky you can just smell the air, then coughs a bit & says to Spike to not breathe in too hard because the chickens were in there. He says after playing some tunes, he'll have Uncle Percy Mandoberg on the show & says he'll kick the tunes off with the iconic Hall Of Famer Mr. Bob Dylan.

27. Plays Bob Dylan's "Ballad Of A Thin Man", The Charlie Daniels Band's "Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye", Robbie Fulks' "Let's Kill Saturday Night", Don Williams' "Tulsa Time", Hank Williams III's Hillbilly Jim promo & Hank Williams III's "I'm A Long Gone Daddy".

28. Hillbilly again plugs his email & toll free request line, introduces Uncle Percy Mandoberg & asks him if he told him that he had a flat tire on his truck this morning. Percy says no & Hillbilly tells him that he had a flat tire & couldn't get to the studio, says that's a shoot & says he had to get another vehicle to get there. He says he made it fine & dandy, says everything's good & says he knew Percy would be on the show & didn't want to be late for it. He asks Percy as to how's he doing, where he's at & what's been going on. Percy says it's a bit rainy today & says he & "The Commander" are rocking in the front porch watching traffic go by, because having fun's a full time job.

Hillbilly says no one can get that done like Percy, then says he'll mention something that at 1st Percy didn't want to talk about & says Percy's a published author. He says Percy's done articles in some magazines & asks to tell the fans about it. Percy says he's written a couple of articles, essays or whatever you'd like to call them, which're about the reason he likes to hunt as well as some background about his [hunting & fishing] experience. He says the "Quail Unlimited" magazine: www.qu.org picked it up for this month, says it'll be published in that magazine & says he's happy about it. Hillbilly says he's happy for him & asks as to how long did it take him to get this all together before he submitted to them.

Percy says it's like writing a song where some of them don't come quick & some of them do. He says the article he wrote is about 44 years of life that took about an hour to write, Hillbilly says he can't wait to read it, says congratulations to him & Percy says thanks. Hillbilly asks him as to what's going on in the hunting & fishing world because he knows that Percy's got a nice recipe to give out later. Percy says this is a very busy time of the year, says they just finished [yep, as he says it] "muzzle orter" season for deer in Kentucky, says he's seen some good photos on the wall with some folks in Western Kentucky that has really done well.

Percy says they just finished their annual elk hunt in Eastern Kentucky, says it went well & the new state record was taken up there. He says this time of the year when he's thinking about bird hunting & says he's been in contact with his birddog trainer buddies. He says he understands that there's great populations of all birds there, says he understands it's going all well & says his feet are itching to be there next week. Hillbilly says he's gone to South Dakota, Percy says yes & Hillbilly says that must be fun to go there this time of the year & asks if he takes his dog Rosa. Percy says yes, Hillbilly says he can't wait to hear some of his stories & then tells Percy to hold on because he'll play some tunes & says when they return, Percy will tell more hunting & fishing news as well as a recipe.

29. Plays Connie Smith's "The Hurtin's All Over", Roy Orbison's "Claudette", David Allen Coe's "Drink Canada Cry" & Tanya Tucker's "Blood Red & Goin' Down".

30. Hillbilly says ain't Tanya a spit firing country girl, says he's happy, silly & goosy as he can be in this holiday season that's near Halloween & asks Percy as to what's going on. Percy says he's still doing his best, Hillbilly says he knows Percy's had his hands full with "The Commander" & asks if "The Commander" is behaving himself & if they're talking about hunting & fishing. Percy says during the break "The Commander" left to go on a boat & catch some "baths", says this time of the year when the leaves are changing colors, the female "baths" start gorging & are biting each other.

Hillbilly says that's making Percy's son [Spike] slobber, says the [fishing accident] wound that he got about a month ago when he caught the fishing hook, says he's all healed up but feels he's ready to try again & says he [Spike] is a true Mandoberg. Percy says yes & he'll switch Spike to barbless hooks & feels that'll be easier to get out, Hillbilly says that's right & says he understands that the emails that he gets that tells him that they love Percy's recipes & asks him as to what recipe will be a holiday flavor with a Halloween theme. Percy says every now & then you get a recipe that comes from someone that you don't expect, says their buddy Pat Haney's a great songwriter & singer but didn't know he was such a good cook.

Percy says this weekend Pat turned him onto something & describes the recipe:

1. Take apple cider & get it hot on the stove

2. Mix in a pretty good bit of salt & let the salt melt in the cider

3. Take it while it's still hot & grind a couple of [yep, what sounded like] "fecints" & let them soak overnight.

4. Then put them on the smoker [oven/stove], cook them till they're tender & says that's some of the best "fecints" that he's ever put in his mouth.

Hillbilly says he's craving for that & asks if that's Pat Haney's recipe, Percy says yes & Hillbilly says he just played his song "Come On Back To Bowling Green & Marry Me" & asks Percy to tell Pat that he wants him on his show & maybe sing 1 or 2 songs also. Percy says he's sure Pat will do that, Hillbilly asks if the recipe's all about the apple cider vinegar & Percy says no it's just apple cider. Hillbilly says that's gotta be a sweet taste once it cooks all in there, Percy says it's a great 1 & says he's got another recipe to give. He says sometimes you just stumble upon 1 & says he & his buddy Bob from Eastern Kentucky stumbled on this 1 this weekend:

1. Take some goose breasts, says people don't like goose because it taste very strong & says to take 4 goose breasts & fillet it off the bone.

2. Put fresh bacon over them & says it's not cured bacon & cook them in a crockpot all day long.

3. Then chop them up, pour the juice off of them, put them back in the crockpot & on top of them put wildrice.

4. Then pour 2 cans of Golden mushroom soup on top of them & says it was good.

Hillbilly says everyone in the studio's mouthwatering now & says Percy's done it again, Percy says Hillbilly got a casserole & a smoker recipe & it's 2 of the price of 1. Hillbilly says he knows Percy likes guitar players, writing songs & play guitar on the porch & asks him if he remembers Jeff Beck [from The Yardbirds] from the 60's. Percy says yes & Hillbilly says he'll play a special Jeff Beck tune ["Over Under Sideways Down"] where he tears up that guitar. He thanks Percy for coming on the show, wishes him a happy hunting season, asks to say hi to everyone there & asks if it's Dallas, South Dakota that he goes to.

Percy says yes, Hillbilly asks for him to say hi to the folks over there & Percy says yes & says hi to "Fast Eddie" & all the folks at "Frank Days": http://tinyurl.com/yxt3sj . Hillbilly says to tell the folks at "Frank Day's" that he appreciates them listening to his show weekly & asks them to let him know as to what they'd like to hear & Percy says that's great.

31. Plays The Yardbirds' "Over Under Sideways Down", Carl Perkins' "Honey Don't", the same Mojo Nixon promo for his "Halloween Hell-Raising Hillbilly Hoedown" on 10/31 at 4PM ET: www.sirius.com/outlawcountry , Asleep At The Wheel's "New San Antonio Rose" & Neil Young's "Are There Any More Real Cowboys?".

32. Hillbilly says everyone in the studio's getting over on Percy's recipes, says it's that time for the holiday season where everyone's eating & feels it's time for his "Helpful Hillbilly Jim Health Hint Of The Week". He says he read that in Virginia that the state health department has done mandatory gym classes & higher taxes on the "all you can eat" buffets, to combat in increase of obesity. He says they're trying to do that as well as to start a campaign against "super sizing": http://tinyurl.com/yymenj . He says that's what made him to a point about healthful exercising. He gives a hint that he wants everyone to try & says when eating, don't walk around while eating, just sit & eat & take your time with it.

Hillbilly says it just takes a couple of minutes but you'll chew it up better, says you'll eat it in a better way to digest it, says it'll feel better going down & you won't eat as much. He says because when you're walking around eating & talking on the phone, lay the phone down & don't engage into too much conversation. He asks for you to just try that once a day to eat 1 meal at your table or sit somewhere where you'll take a few minutes & says you'll see that you won't eat so much. He says he wants you to be around as long as possible to listen to his show. He then gives a shoutout to 2 fans named Lillian & Gary Feinberg in New York City.

Hillbilly says they emailed him to say that they bought a new car in Florida, says it had a Sirius radio in it & listened to his show while driving back to New York last week when he had ZZ Top on the show. He says thanks to Gary & Lillian for doing that & says to those that hear his voice, he loves & appreciates everything they do. He says he'll now play a song for those that're driving a tune by Elvis Presley for you to enjoy.

33. Plays Elvis Presley's "The Wonder Of You", Johnny Cash's "5 Foot High & Rising" & Chris Cain's "Drinking Straight Tequilla".

34. Hillbilly says he's had the pleasure of seeing Cain in concert, says his radio show's about over, says he's enjoyed himself & hopes that you've enjoyed yourselves & again plugs Clement's show & Shooter Jennings show that'll follow his.

35. Plays Merle Haggard's "Misery & Gin", The Band's "The Weight" & Steve Earle's "Hillbilly Highway".

36. Hillbilly says this highway's about over & the time went by so quick. He says he thanks Percy, the fans & says whether you're in Canada, California, Florida or wherever, he'll bring it to you weekly. He again plugs Clement's show, thanks Spike, his producer Steve Popavich, Jr. & the people in the studio. He says he ain't here for a long time, he's here for a good time, he's had a great time this week & says he'll see you next week.

37. Ends with Lefty Frizzell's "She's Gone, Gone, Gone" & the show ends at 2:01PM.
