GCW Champion Mance Warner vs. Effy
The story is Effy hurt his neck when Mance chokeslammed his earlier when everything went haywire following the Allie Katch injury.
Effy nailed a series of big boots in the corner but Warner smashed him with the belt. They went to the floor, where they exchanged strikes and hard chops. They battled back and forth for a suplex with Effy finally nailing it on the floor. He whipped Mance hard into the ring post. Effy tossed a chair into the ring and it nailed Mance head on quicker than you could say Terry Funk. Mance nailed him across the back with a chair. Effy responded in kind. He sat Mance in a chair and went to the ropes. Effy went for a flip dive off the ropes but Mance moved and Effy crashed through the chair.
Mance set up two chairs back to back and chokeslammed him across them for a two count. He set up more chairs. The crowd crapped on Mance so he gave them the finger. He pulled Effy up on the chairs but Effy turned it into a TKO across the chairs. He hit a tombstone for a two count. Effy pulled a door from under the ring and placed it into the ring. He charged Warner into the corner with the door. Effy placed it against him and charged but it was shoved into him. Effy was sent head-first into the door in the corner.
Mance leapt off a chair but was caught and hit with a spinebuster through a door for a two count. He nailed a curb stomp the champ into a chair for another two count. Effy tossed several chairs and a door into the ring, then drilled Mance with a chair. Mance drilled him and went for a piledriver through a table on the floor but they sort of crashed as the table refused to sell for them. Mance tossed hgim back into the ring for a two count.
Mance went to the floor, tossed a ring attendant around and nailed him with a chair. He bridged a door between two chairs and stomped away at Effy. He pulled Effy to the top and hit a top rope DDT through the door, but Effy kicked out. Mance tossed Effy to the floor and threatened the referee with a steel chair to make him start to count out Effy. Effy returned and was drilled down with right hands to the jaw. He tossed Effy out again and demanded the referee again count him out. I should point out GCW rarely, if ever, does countouts as part of their bouts This time, Effy returned at the nine count.
Mance nailed him across the back over and over with a steel chair. Mance hit a running knee to the face but Effy kicked out and was energized. Mance pulled a screwdriver out but Effy blocked it. Effy speared him. Effy grabbed the screwdriver and nailed Mance with it. He propped a door in the corner and powerbombed Mance through it. Mance kicked out at the last second. Effy just went nuts stabbing Mance with the screwdriver. He went for a move but was powerbombed down and nailed with a knee to the head and a DDT. Effy kicked out at the last second.
Mance went towards the entrance stage and returned with a guitar. Cole Radrick grabbed the guitar and then unveiled his brass ring that can be used for a championship match at any time. He teases it but instead hands Effy the guitar. Effy hits Mance with El Kabong and then Sack Ryder for the pin.
