El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Sydney Akeem

Akeem is formerly Scrypts/Reggie in WWE.  The last bout was all violence and I expect a lot more flying and finesse here.    They tested each other.  Vikingo offered a shake.  Akeem kicked it away.  Akeem nailed a spinning kick and clothesline for a two count.  Vikingo caught him with a kick but missed a dive.  Akeem nailed a great twisting splash off apron to the floor.  Akeem nailed a running uppercut.  Vikingo kicked him away during a charge, then tricked him into making another into the buckles. Vikingo nailed a missile dropkick.

Vikingo nailed a tope suicida to the outside.  They returned to the ring with some nice action.  Akeem did a backflip into a cutter, which looked beautiful.  They nailed kicks at the same time and were both down.  The referee counted them down on the mat.  Akeem was sent to the outside, where Vikingo nailed a Canadian Destroyer on the apron.  It looked insane.  Akeem came back and hit The Final Act and scored the pin.

Your winner, Sidney Akeem!

So many moves.  They worked really well together.  Akeem is a hell of an athlete.

Yoshihiro Tajiri & Super Crazy & Little Guido vs. The Desperados, Gringo Loco & Jack Cartwheel & Arez.

Guido and Cartwheel went back and forth.   Guido did a cartwheel, which popped the Hammerstein crowd.  Loco and Tajiri went back and forth before facing off.   Crazy and Arez tagged in.  Los Desperadoes quarantined Crazy in the ring and worked him over with triple-team maneuvers.  Guido was tossed into the ring and was then victim to Los Desperadoes as well.  Arez jumped on Guido and ran "up" his back.  Cartwheel nailed a big elbow.  Cartwheel went for a Sky Twister Press but missed it.  Crazy tagged back in and nailed a shotgun dropkick to the face of Cartwheel.  He followed up with an elbow.

Arez and Gringo cut off Tajiri as he hit the ring but shocked them with a double handspring elbow.  Crazy and Tajiri used Tarantulas while Guido snapped Cartwheel with a Fujiwara Armbar.  Everyone battled to the floor and into the crowd.  Crazy went to the balcony and hit a moonsault down to everyone.  That woke the crowd up.  I bet when he did that the first time, he'd never have guessed he'd be doing it again in 2025.  The crowd chanted, "You still got it."

Everyone battled back to the ring.  Tajiri used the mist, but Arez ducked and the ref got it.  Arez spewed mist of his own on Tajiri.  Gringo hit a spit-legged moonsault on Guido and scored the pin.

Your winners, Los Desperados.

Bloodsport Match: Josh Barnett vs. Tom Pestock, the former Baron Corbin.

This is Pestock's first-ever independent match.  Lots of grappling.  Pestock went for a knee bar but Barnett escaped and went for a mount but Pestock defended himself.  They battled back to their feet.  Barnett took him down to the mat.  Pestock went for ambar but Barnett went for a full mount.  Pestock had him in a guard.  Barnett drilled him in a mid-section.  Pestock went for a LeBell Lock but Barnett tried to block it.  Pestock rained down with elbows.

They go back and forth on the mat, exchanging holds and submission attempts.  Barnett went for an anklelock but Pestock rolled through and drilled him with several knees to the back.  He grabbed a front facelock but Barnett powered up and hit a back suplex style takedown.  Pestock was grabbed into a crossarm breaker, but held on.  He pulled himself up to his feet but was unable to pull him up for a powerbomb. Barnett grabbed him for a hold but Pestock began raining strikes down.  Pestock hit a suplex and went for a mount but Barnett gained control and nailed punches and strikes.  Pestock gained control and fired back with his own.

They fought back to their feet.  Pestock nailed a big right and hit a pair of backdriving suplexes.  Barnett escaped and hit a roll through into a double leglock and forced the tapout.

Your winner, Josh Barnett!

The crowd didn't seem to enjoy the MMA-inspired bout.  It may have been placed a little late in the show, but that's just my guess.

They shook hands after.
