Former WWE and OVW star Doug Basham officially retired over the weekend, losing a final bout to Kal Herro as part of the 2023 Great Lakes Championship Wrestling Blizzad Brawl event in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Trained by his Uncle, Nightmare Danny Davis, Basham was a massive part of the glory era of OVW, feuding with The Damaja before the two were put together as a team by WWE. The duo held the Tag Team Titles for WWE in two occasions and after the WWE run, they made appearances in TNA. We are told that Basham specifically wanted to put over Herro and give him the accolade of being the person to retire him. Herro is part of the current roster of OVW.

*GLCW Women's Champion Leila Grey defeated Renee Michelle and Harley Jane in a bout with Alicia Fox as the guest referee.
*NWA Champion EC3 pinned Matt Cardona.
