AEW star Jeff Hardy, 44, was arrested earlier today in Volusia County, Florida.
Hardy has been charged with DUI (Alcohol or Drugs), third offense within ten years, driving while license canceled/suspended/revoked and violation of restrictions placed on driver's license. The orimary charge would be a felony under Florida law, punishable up to five years' imprisonment should Hardy be convicted. The others would fall under misdemeanors.
Hardy is listed as having been processed into Volusia County Jail at 12:45 AM. He is currently listed as incarcerated and is slated to appear before court tomorrow 6/14 at 1:30 PM. Hardy has a bail listing of $3,500, but has yet to be bailed out as of this writing. The court also lists him as being arrested at 9:55 AM today, which may be a clerical error.
Hardy was in Florida for an autograph signing and acoustic musical performance yesterday, Sunday 6/12, at Slamtown VII in Orlando, Florida at a Dave & Buster's location. Hardy, Matt Hardy and Hardy's wife Reby Sky were all advertised as appearing through 10 PM EST last night.
Jeff Hardy had been previously arrested for a previous DUI-related offense in March 2018 and October 2019 in North Carolina, so those would appear to be the previous DUIs referenced as his primary charge. In July 2019, Hardy was arrested in South Carolina for public intoxication and impairment.
Hardy is slated to compete in a three-way Ladder Match for the AEW Tag Team Championship this Wednesday on Dynamite: Road Rager in St. Louis. He is slated to headline AAA Triplemania in Tijuana this Saturday in Mexico.
