Backstage, Tasha Steelz cut a promo promising to be the new X-Division Champion. There was someone screaming in the background and it was Chris Sabin, who had come across Eddie Edwards KO'd on the floor backstage.
Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs. The Guerrillas of Destiny.
Tama Tonga and Karl Anderson started fighting at the bell with Tonga getting the better of him. Everyone brawled around ringside. Back in the ring, Tonga drilled Anderson with a lariat. G.O.D. nailed the 3D on Anderson but he escaped. Anderson ripped at Tama Tonga's face and tagged out to Doc Gallows. He and Tonga Loa went nose to nose and began battling back and forth.
Gallows cut off Tonga with a big sideslam and worked him over with fisticuffs in the corner. Anderson and Gallows tagged in and out, controlling Tonga for some time, scoring near falls. Tama Tonga exploded out of the corner with a clothesline and tagged out to his brother. Tanga Loa cleaned house on Anderson but Gallows broke up a pinfall attempt. Anderson nailed a neckbreaker for a two count. Gallows returned and slammed Loa for a two count.
The Good Brothers went for the Magic Killer but Loa slipped out. Tonga hit the ring and they all went into a series of big maneuvers. Tonga reversed the Gun Stun and all four were down, being counted out by the official. Tonga nailed a top rope splash on Anderson for a two count. They went for a Magic Killer as Chris Bey ran out to ringside. Gallows and Loa went over the top to the floor. Bey argued with the referee as Anderson and Tonga were down in the ring. Loa asked Bey what he was doing, leaving Gallows to chokeslam Loa.
Jay White hit the ring from the crowd but hit a Blade Runner on Tonga. The Good Brothers covered Tonga and scored the pin.

So, The G.O.D. have been exiled from Bullet Club in favor of the Good Brothers, an angle that certainly will play in New Japan going forward as well.
Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James vs. Tasha Steelz with Savannah Evans.
James had control early on. Steelz went to the floor to break the momentum. Back in the ring, they went into a test of strength with James being forced down to the mat and then powering back up. James was covered for a two count but kicked up She snapmared Steelz over and drilled her with a kick to the face for a near fall.
Steelz fired back with hard chops. She controlled James and sent her into the ring steps on the outside. James responded in kind and then tossed Steelz back into the ring. She went to follow but Savannah Evans grabbed Mickie and ran her into the ring post. Tasha talked James into the ring and scored a two count. Steelz stomped away at James, who was out on her feet against the ropes. James finally came back with a rana off the ropes.
James avoided a kick and exploded with forearms. Steelz kicked her down with a big boot for a two count. Mickie and Tasha went nose to nose an Mickie BIT her. Didn't expect that. She sent Tasha into the corner and kicked her low when she came back. Mickie nailed her with a Flapjack. James nailed a Thesz Press off the top for a near fall. James drilled Savannah Evans, who had climbed up on the apron, with the Mick Kick. Steelz caught James with a Cutter.
Chelsea Green ran out and nailed Evans. Mickie was almost sent into Green, who was on the apron, but stopped short. She reversed and sent Steelz into Green and then rolled up Steelz with the Backlund Bridge for the pin.

A good match and the finish would seem to set up a potential Green heel turn to align her with Matt Cardona.
This felt like it was Tasha's time to win the title, so sadly that didn't happen but her work has been so top notch there will certainly be another time for her to have a run on top. James and Steelz both looked really good here.
They aired a video feature on the Impact Wrestling Championship match.
They announced Willie Mack will be substituting for Eddie Edwards tonight in the main event.
Brian Myers came out and joined Matt and Tom on commentary for the Impact Wrestling title. They made a few inside jokes about how Vince McMahon wants commentary handled.
Impact Wrestling Champion Moose vs. W. Morrissey.
They started throwing hands back and forth and it was damn enjoyable. They took each other down and ended up in opposite corners. They pulled themselves to their feet. Moose speared Morrissey and set up for another. Morrissey rolled to the outside after the second spear. Moose sent him back into the ring and went for another but Morrissey leapfrogged Moose and hit a big clothesline. Morrissey hit the BQE powerbomb but now Moose rolled to the outside before the challenger could capitalize.
Morrissey followed and whipped him hard into the railing. He repeated the feat, sending Moose hard into the railing. Moose stopped another attempted whip and nailed a Uranage through a table at ringside, which looked great. Moose dragged him to his feet and drove Morrissey into the ring post. Moose went to follow but the ringside camera operator was in his way, allowing Morrissey a chance to nail a big boot and the BQE on the apron outside.
He went for another BQE but Moose turned it into a rana and then nailed him with a running dropkick in the corner. Moose and Morrissey went back and forth chopping the hell out of each other. Morrissey finally got the better of the exchange, hitting chop after chop. Moose hit a dropkick and then charged for a move while Morrissey went for a lariat and it was a malfunction at the junction as Ed Whalen used to say in Stampede Wrestling.
Moose came back with a big spear. He covered Morrissey but the referee realized Morrissey's arm was outside, under the ropes and stopped the count. Moose had words with the referee. Morrissey caught him coming and scooped him into the BQE. He covered Moose but this time Moose's foot was outside the ring, under the ropes. Morrissey rained down punches on Moose and pulled him up for a BQE but was backed up hard into the buckles.
They battled to the top and somehow, the top rope didn't collapse under them as Moose nailed a big superplex. That was insane. They really are working their asses off here. Morrissey avoided a spear but Moose rebounded and drilled him with it for the pin.

For two guys as big as they are, this was absolutely great as they threw all caution to the wind and just went at it. This was absolutely a hell of a match and extremely enjoyable. Just two big Kaiju battling it out. I'll take about 1,000 more matches like this.
