By Mike Johnson on 2022-02-19 19:00:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing coverage of Impact Wrestling's No Surrender 2022 PPV from The Alario Center in New Orleans, LA!

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt are your broadcast team tonight.  They ran down the lineup for the PPV.

They then went into a video package on the main event, Impact Wrestling Champion Moose vs. W. Morrisey.

Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion Trey Miguel vs. John Skyler (non-title)

Miguel scored with some nice kicks and strikes.  Skyler fought back but was caught with a rana.  He came back to cut off Miguel with a clothesline and a knee to the face for a two count.  He continued to work over Miguel with a series of rights and drove himself into Miguel's mid-section.  He nailed a Tiger Driver and scored a two count and turned it into a Boston Crab upon the kickout.  Miguel fought to the ropes and broke the hold but was drilled with a forearm in the corner.  Skyler nailed a knee strike but was caught with a striking kick to the face.

Miguel nailed several kicks in rhe corner and tripped him up before nailing another kick to the side of the head.  Miguel nailed a missile dropkick, sending Skyler to the outside, then nailed a tope con hilo to the floor.  Skyler went to the top but was caught with an enziguiri.  Miguel went for a rana but was caught and powerbombed down.  Skyler nailed a rolling senton off the ropes for a two count.

Skyler was trapped in the corner and nailed with a series of kicks and a Meteora off the ropes for the pin.

Your winner, Trey Miguel!

Really solid back and forth bout with Skyler getting some solid heat to set up the comeback and win.

They aired a video piece on Honor No More vs. Team Impact.

Gia Miller interviewed Team Impact.  Eddie Edwards said tonight, Steve Maclin gets to prove he's Team Impact.  Chris Sabin said they are going to show Honor No More they have to go through them and they have to answer to Impact.  Rhino promised they would be Gored.

Tenille Dashwood with Kaleb with a K & Madison Rayne vs. Havok with Decay

Havok had a new, bright orange hair color and cleaned house early.  Dashwood kicked her and escaped to the floor.  Rosemary stalked her on the floor, allowing Havok to grab Tenille from behind.  Dashwood drilled her with a knee and worked over Havok, choking her against the ropes.  She kept working over Havok, who finally had enough and fired back.  Dashwood cut her off and nailed a crossbody against the buckles for a two count.

Havok was kicked away from the ropes.  Dashwood hit a flying bodypress for a two count.  What appeared to be The IInspiration tried to call Kaleb on his cell that they gifted him.  Madison was distracted.  All of this allowed Havok to wipe out Dashwood and get the pin.

Your winner, Havok!

For the storyline between IInspiration and Influence, this made the most sense and Decay needed a few wins given how they have been booked.  This was OK.

They aired a video piece on Mickie James vs. Tasha Steelz.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt ran down the PPV lineup.

NO SURRENDER 2022 PPV

They had Chapel Heart, a musical group sing the national anthem live before a New Orleans-centric video opening.

I'm guessing about 400 or so in attendance.

Ace Austin vs. Chris Bey vs. Mike Bailey vs. Jake Something to name top contender for the X-Division Championship.

Everyone fought at the bell.  Jake Something cleared the ring and went for a dive but Bailey stopped him and all three worked him over and knocked him to the floor.  Bailey was busted open near his mouth.  Something returned and tossed Bailey over the top onto everyone else, including Madman Fulton and took them all down.  He then hit a huge dive over the top, taking the pile down again.

Back in the ring, Austin nailed some educated kicks and scored a two count on Something.  He fired away with some kicks to the back and used a knee to smother Something's face.  Bailey was spotlighted with some really nice, fast-paced offense and a dive to the floor, taking everyone out.  He drilled Austin with a spinning kick in the corner.  Something caught him going for a move and was going for a powerbomb but Bey attacked Something and nailed a Poisonrana.  Bey hit an awesome frog splash for a two count on Austin but Bailey nailed a shooting star press to break it up.  Something wiped out Bailey with a big strike.  He drilled Bailey in the corner with a big shoulderblock and went for a Black Hole Slam but was blocked by Bey.

Bey nailed a cutter on Bailey but Austin broke up the pinfall.  Austin went for the Fold but was caught with a Black Hole Slam for the pin.

Your winner and new number one contender, Jake Something!

A great, fun bell to bell sprint with lots of fun exchanges, near falls and dives.  Real fun.

They aired a video piece on Eric Young prior to his bout against Jay White.  He said he was a true pro wrestler, not someone who fell into the business or got over on the Internet.  He said tonight we were going to see how far White was willing to go.

Black Taurus vs. Jonah.

They said Jonah was angry since losing to "former" Impact star Josh Alexander.  If he's a former star, you don't bring him up on TV.  Jonah caught Taurus going for a leapfrog and knocked him down in mid-air.  They went to the floor.  Jonah went for a powerslam but was shoved into the guard rail.  Taurus hit a dive to the floor, taking Jonah down.  He then nailed a twisting corkscrew dive to the floor.

Back in the ring, Jonah made a comeback, catching Taurus and pressing and slamming him into the buckles, then launching him across the ring with a big slam.    Taurus started to fight back and nailed a reverse Slingblade but Jonah kept fighting back.  Jonah was nailed with a big Crucifix Bomb for a two count.  Taurus went to charge across the ring but was nailed with an Avalanche.  Taurus fired back with a driving headbutt.  Jonah smashed him down in the corner but was tripped up charging him and smashed into the buckles.

Taurus went to the top for a twisting senton, scoring a two count.   They battled to the top where Taurus was slammed into the ring and nailed with a Lou Thesz Press off the top.  Jonah powerbombed him for a two count and followed up with a lariat.  Jonah nailed the top rope splash and that was it.

Your winner, Jonah!

A good, hard-fought match that saw Taurus fight the good fight before being taken down.

They locked up and muscled each other around.  They fought with shoulderblocks but neither man went down.Gia Miller interviewed Jake Something.  He just beat three men during a time the best the X-Division has ever been, so he's the best he's ever been.  Trey Miguel showed up and said that he's impressed but Miguel isn't planning to lose the title.  Ace Austin and Madman Fulton showed up talking trash.  Miguel challenged them to a tag team next this Thursday on Impact on AXS.
