Former WWE star Aksana is in St. Louis and is slated for the Women's Royal Rumble, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
Signed in 2009, the Lithuanian-born star inked a WWE developmental deal after competing in a number of bodybuilding competitions. She debuted in 2010 for then-WWE developmental promotion FCW, where she won the Queen of FCW Crown and the FCW Divas Championship.
Aksana was moved to the main roster in October 2011 and for a time was linked on-screen to Cesaro. For a time, she teamed with Alicia Fox and was part of a contingent of talents led by AJ Lee against the Total Divas cast, building to a Survivor Series bout. She worked the Vickie Guerrero Invitational at Wrestlemania 30, which was her highest profile appearance.
Aksana was released in June 2014 and did not continue on performing in the business. She last wrestled on a WWE Smackdown episode, losing to Alicia Fox shortly after attacking her to start a program. This would be Aksana's first in-ring appearance anywhere since her June 2014 WWE release, although she has made some convention appearances.
